These 5 Indoor Pools in Dubai Kept Us from Being Sun-Fried

Ever wanted to jump into a pool without worrying about sunburns or giving your dermatologist a scare? I have sensitive skin, so that’s pretty much me every time.

That’s also why I’m all about Dubai’s indoor pools now. My sisters and I can swim here without turning into lobsters!

Since we all love a good dip—especially with Dubai’s crazy summer heat—we put together a quick guide to the best indoor pools in the city for you to check out.

Where can I swim indoors in Dubai?

There are a bunch of spots where you can swim indoors in Dubai! Notable ones are indoor pools at the Bulgari Hotel, Four Seasons Resort Dubai, and Burj Al Arab.

The Bulgari Hotel features a stunning 25-meter indoor pool with sea views. Guests can also enjoy a luxurious experience, complete with relaxing 4-poster beds nearby.

We also like that the spa’s interior, crafted by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, features a hammam (traditional steam bath for relaxation and cleansing) and a vitality pool.

Beyond the indoor pool, the spa also includes many rejuvenating amenities! It’s got 7 treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, and a 24-hour fitness center with the latest facilities.

Four Seasons Hotel Dubai boasts a beautiful indoor pool under a glass dome, surrounded by Romanesque columns. It’s open to hotel guests, spa customers, and those with fitness memberships.

We also love the climate-controlled pool, allowing natural light to brighten the space. For us, this creates a serene environment that’s also lovely for photos.

And when you get hungry, you can enjoy Far Eastern cuisine at Sea Fu with breathtaking gulf views! Then, we say head over to Hendricks Bar for a chill vibe with your crew.

Burj Al Arab

The iconic Burj Al Arab features an indoor infinity pool within the Talise Spa. Set over 2 levels, this is spacious enough to separate male and female indoor infinity pools. It also has 14 treatment rooms where you can get a de-stress massage.

We think the pool area looks incredible too! It features many golden vases, potted plants, and columns. Plus, there are zigzag mosaic tiles in blue, green, and gold, looking like the sunrise over the sea.

Just note that access is granted to spa guests who book treatments costing AED 950 or more. This allows you to enjoy luxurious facilities including a jacuzzi and steam room.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

The Talise Spa at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray offers a Thalassotherapy (uses seawater as therapy) pool designed to look like a starry night sky. This 59-meter infinity pool has a peaceful setting so you can find your zen too.

We also like that there are 2 pools for kids: one for swimming and another with a playground, making it more fun and engaging for the little ones.

It’s also amazing for us that these options offer the perfect water temperature to keep things comfy. Moreover, life jackets are available in all sizes, so we think everyone in the family is covered.

Raffles features an elegant indoor pool filled with chandeliers and columns. It’s open to hotel guests and the public, with a weekday pass available. You can discover this hidden oasis within a short walk through its gardens on the Palm Jumeirah.

The day pass allows you to relax by the temperature-controlled pool or a Dubai beach. Guests can also take 45-minute swimming lessons in the indoor pool to build more confidence.

We also love the comprehensive spa experience—the spa facilities include 23 treatment rooms, 2 private spa suites, and a traditional hammam (steam bath).
