MayaBay is already one of my favourite restaurants in Dubai. So when I heard that they were offering Sunday family brunch, I knew we had to check it out right away.
Who doesn’t want to feast on good Asian food anyway? And we’re not just talking typical Asian food but gourmet dishes prepared by a world-class team of chefs. Yes, that’s a luxury Sunday family brunch in Dubai for you.
As soon as you get seated, you’ll be offered your choice of three appetisers and a soup. Take note that all of these dishes are big enough for sharing.
And by feast I mean 12 different varieties of baos, spring rolls, dumplings and gyozas followed by trays of sashimu and sushi for you to choose from.
Did I say we’re not yet on the main course? If you still have room left, you can choose two mains and two sides on the menu.
Pro tip:
If you’re dining with the family, you can be strategic with your orders to taste everything on the menu. Let each person choose a different dish for the appetisers, dim sum and mains, and you’ll basically have a huge Japanese-Thai spread.

I can feed my kids pizza and pasta every day and they’ll do just fine. But my home cooking will never beat the delicious dishes served at the Sunday family brunch in Luigia.
One of your favourite Italian restaurants, Luigia is the best spot for Sunday family brunch in Dubai if you’re craving for authentic Italian dishes like pizzas, pastas and everything in between.
But what I really appreciate about this restaurant is that they have a dedicated kids’ play area with a cinema where the little ones can enjoy a movie while the adults get some much needed downtime.
One piece of advice: come on an empty stomach because you’ll be eating a lot. Brunch starts with antipasti that includes those delicious Italian fritters, buffalo mozzarella salad and homemade veal meatballs.
And for the star of the show, you can’t miss the restaurant’s famous miracolata pizza and veal escalope, a classic Italian dish made with eggplants.
They also have a special kids’ menu filled with pizzas and pastas that the kids will surely love.

When I first heard about this Sunday family brunch in Dubai, I wondered why it’s called “The Turntable Brunch.”
But when we first visited the brunch at Seagrill Bistro, I immediately understood that it was because of that roast on a rotating lazy susan.
Seagrill Bistro is already famous for its seafood, but this brunch will treat you to some delicious meats, showcasing a different side of the restaurant.
This family brunch is more adult-friendly and you’ll be welcomed with your drink of choice to set the mood for the rest of the meal. You can also go for one of their punch bowls, cocktails, spirits or wines.
Their appetizers are pretty straightforward with options like pork charcuterie, artisan cheeses, prawn cocktails and marinated olives.
But the real highlight of this Sunday family brunch is their beef, salmon or wild mushroom and chickpea wellington that’s perfectly cooked every time.
And to finish an amazing meal, you will be served their special baked Alaska for dessert.

Aside from its famous Sunday family brunch, Seagrill Bistro also hosts a special seafood brunch every Friday where you get to enjoy all the seafood you want in the most beautiful setting.

We love all the Sunday family brunch spots on this list. But we have to admit that we love the Bubbalicious Brunch the most.

Yalumba has been the OG brunch spot in Al Garhoud. So, I wasn’t really surprised when many food cricits said that it has the best Sunday family brunch in Dubai.
This family-friendly brunch aims to satisfy every member of the family, from the adults to the kids. In fact, they have a separate buffet just for the little ones to enjoy and even a dedicated space for playing and doing different activities.
Of course, there’s an impressive international menu for adults, so you can guarantee that the food here is great.
While the kids are entertained in their area, you can enjoy the view from the outdoor terrace while eating your food. Just make sure to come early before the place gets packed with families looking to have a good time.
