Little Bangkok has been a nice neighborhood spot for satisfying everyone’s Asian cuisine cravings. With its affordable prices and convenient location, it is our go-to spot for munching on dumplings in our pajamas.
Faithful to its name, this restaurant’s menu is chock-full of Thai classics such as Khao pad, pad thai, satay, and som tam.
But what makes its menu special in our eyes are the little foreign dishes, borrowed from other Asian countries, that are found throughout the menu, such as siu mai, pad bulgogi, and beef teriyaki.
However, our problems with it are the small portions that are barely good enough for one person and the questionable authenticity of the flavors of its Thai dishes.
Despite that, the service is fast, efficient, and friendly throughout our experience. We love that for a fast food chain, its team seems to be more than willing to really give us a great time.
We also enjoyed the ambiance for its amazing attempt at channeling that Thai aesthetic style that we know so well. While it lacked its own unique take on what that is for Little Bangkok, we still appreciate the details in the decor and the furniture.
When it comes to accessibility, what it lacks in car parking, makes it up with the fact it is right next to many apartment buildings, and parks.

Very fresh and tasty, it really takes your senses back to Bangkok. We had Pad Thai with seafood and the roast duck ( the sauce was amazing and the meat very soft ).
We had a problem with the parking as our international number didn’t work to pay, and the manager helped us and paid for us in order to have a relaxed lunch.
The staff are fast, friendly, and professional, creating a very enjoyable atmosphere.

Known to be one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood for its really good Arabic dishes and Lebanese fare, Bayti is a local favorite in Silicon Oasis
The menu consists of some well-loved dishes you would find around the city, including many more dishes taken from around the region.
But what we keep coming back for is its kunafa, which is one of the best ones in the area (just ask the residents around). On top of that, it also serves hearty shawarmas and falafels that we look for during long days.
However, we do think that it is just a neighborhood restaurant that is not really in the business of anything innovative and unique.
The service, what it lacks in professional training, more than makes up for it with the friendliness and willingness to accommodate anyone who comes in through its doors.
We simply love feeling like we are walking in to visit a neighbor, and they have some food prepared for us.
The restaurant is also simple but manages to evoke a homey vibe through its wooden chairs and bright lighting. However, if you are looking for a fancier place to dine in, then this is not the place for that.
When it comes to accessibility, it is located in the central intersection of the neighborhood, and the building it is in has lots of parking spaces which makes things convenient for its customers.

“I can’t stop ordering from this restaurant. Everything I ordered was super delicious. Best Manaeesh place in Dubai so far specifically in DSO. Every time I order at any time of the day their manaeesh tastes better than the order before. I tried many other places recommended by my friends but Bayti is the best. The dou, the filling; Zatar, Zatar Jabali, Lahmeh bajeen, Spinach, eggs with cheese. Their proportions are super good and sufficient. I even put the leftovers in the freezer and they taste fresh when I heat them again. I have been ordering from them for the past two years and any guest who tried their Manaeesh with me loved it. Known for being the local sushi and sashimi joint in Silicon Oasis Dubai, Sumo Sushi & Bento is continuously popular for the kind of food it serves because it prioritizes quality over anything else.
We love going here for its fishy bites, but the menu also features extensive Japanese dishes that are mainstays in every Japanese restaurant such as poke bowls, tempura, gyoza, ramen, and many more.
We do not have to worry about any of us not liking sushi or sashimi because it has a little bit of something for everyone.
We also quite enjoyed the service because of its knowledgable staff. Our waitress had no trouble describing to us the dishes we asked about in detail and recommended some great ones herself.
The ambiance is nothing special. We felt like the place felt too bright and generic like there was no effort into making the place feel comfortable and cozy.
We were not big fans of the white fluorescent lights and the stark white walls that felt almost clinical.
When it comes to accessibility, it is located right dab smack in the center of Silicon Oasis, and the building it is in has great parking which makes things convenient for people in the area.

Serving classic Pakistani fare and some of the best biryani in Dubai, Copper Kettle’s quaintness continues to charm us, and everyone else in Silicon Oasis.
The menu consists of a lot of classic dishes from the South Asian country, with our favorites such as kebabs, karahi, mutton Peshawari, and samosa chaat. We never eat there without ordering a plate of biryani, too.
Each dish is packed with so much flavor, and the spices are unapologetically Pakistani through and through.
And unlike the intensity of its food, Copper Kettle’s atmosphere is actually quite cozy and homey. It definitely feels like a family restaurant, for better or for worse.
But the definite problem with its space is that it is actually too small, and this is quite noticeable during peak mealtimes.
Despite that, the staff manages the crowd really well, turning in orders and turning out dishes in a timely manner.
We also love how friendly the service is, with its staff always in a good mood every time someone comes through its doors.
It is located in a residential building in an area where many people reside, however, this means its parking is mostly reserved for people who live in the building.

Lauded as one of the best Italian restaurants in Dubai, Oregano is a (Silicon) oasis for pasta and pizza lovers who are looking for authentic Italian flavors.
We love its menu which consists of Italian classics like our favorite burrata salad, lasagna di carne, brisket fettucini, spaghetti bolognese, and the truffle & burrata pizza.
Its extensive menu also features some great fusion dishes such as a paella risotto, but the food can often taste a bit bland, so we always ask for salt and pepper on the side.
Despite that, it was amazing to see that it offers gluten-free and whole wheat options for its carbs, which is a lot when it comes to this kind of cuisine.
The service was amazing as well. The waiter and the kitchen were more than willing to adjust the recipe in the way we requested it for our dietary limits.
On top of that, everything was done in a prompt manner.
When it comes to its ambiance, this is one gorgeous-looking restaurant. Looking like it came off of the pages of an interior design magazine, the dining area is bathed in warm yellow light that plays off perfectly with the brick columns and pillars.
The whole space feels like an Italian grandmother’s home, or bed and breakfast in the Sicilian countryside.
Located in the community’s community center, not only is it amazingly conveniently located in the middle of many villas, but it is also a part of the community’s shopping center complex.
