As a brand known for gourmet Indian cuisine and fanciful table presentation, Farzi is quite the popular name in Dubai, The restaurant has well-known locations at the Mall of Emirates and, of course, Dubai City Walk II.

The restaurant places a particular focus on global cuisine with an Indian twist, alongside classic Indian dishes. Farzi puts their own unique spin on these dishes by presenting them in unique fashions, whether served in a boot or accompanied by a mini booth.

Vegetarian diners also don’t have to worry about a limited menu. Farzi has a rather good selection of vegetarian dishes, tasty enough to make even the most ardent meat lovers want to try.

Diners on a budget may also try the special sets offered by the restaurant. In particular, groups may enjoy some of their Farzi platters or even their special Thali without ever having to burn through their wallets.

These can all be enjoyed in the comfort of the restaurant, which has a very relaxed ambiance. The sparse but cozy wooden decor and modern, minimalist interior evokes a sophisticated feel sure to put any customer at ease.

This seating area comes with the caveat of being rather limited, however. We recommend getting yourself a reservation well in advance to avoid losing out on a seat.

Overall, Farzi is a reliable restaurant for anyone dining at City Walk– the sophisticated decor and gourmet Indian menu can make any customer feel like royalty, even for just a day.

Pros

  • Big vegetarian selection
  • Great value for money in their set menus

Cons

  • Seating fills up quite fast
  • A little pricier compared to other options

With a beginning in the year 1993, Eggspectation is a brand that quickly expanded from its original store in Montreal, bringing its lively menu full of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to Dubai’s doorstep.

The menu keeps in line with the restaurant’s namesake, featuring a whole assortment of egg dishes– from omelettes to shakshuka. They are especially well-known for their eggs benedict and their own unique takes on the dish.

With its location in Dubai City Walk II, the restaurant also isn’t that hard to reach– customers with their own vehicles may also be relieved to know that the parking space of the restaurant is rather wide, ensuring space for every guest who swings by.

The restaurant boasts a cozy ambiance, perfect for dining at any time of the day. Customers have noted that the sea view from Eggspectation makes for a pleasing backdrop to the rest of the restaurant.

In our experience, the staff has also been very welcoming and friendly. Customers who may need to have their orders altered to account for preferences or any food sensitivities can easily do so thanks to the accommodating waitstaff.

That being said, some customers have mentioned that the portion sizes may be on the smaller side, so it’s best to keep it in mind. Fortunately, there are special sets available to sample the food.

Anyone looking for a good pick-me-up, especially for breakfast, should definitely try to visit Eggspectation should they find themselves at City Walk. The lively ambiance and extensive menu is enough to put a pep in anyone’s step.

Pros

  • Ample parking space
  • Very helpful staff

Cons

  • Seating can be quite cramped
  • Portion sizes are a bit small

Perhaps you also enjoy getting a feast for the eyes and not just the stomach? In that case, make sure to drop by Saya Cafe; the most Instagrammable cafe to visit here in City Walk Dubai!

This cafe/restaurant is a must-try destination for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth as they feast on the place’s massive selection of cakes, smoothies, and drinks!

And if you’re not a big fan of sweets, well, no need to worry about that! They have savory dishes too like tacos, pastrami sandwiches, and sliders.

Got some vegetarian-friendly dishes too, with a healthy rose hummus and avocado toast!

Presentation of the food is amazing, living up to their reputation as an Instagrammable cafe. This is doubly so when you pair it with the cute pink interior and the views of the nearby fountains, making for a nice backdrop.

It’s a little pricier than many other places but, we did find the whole experience to be very cool and novel.

That said, we did find some of the items on the menu to sell out quite fast, leading to a mixed result at times. You may end up going on a day where that order you’re craving for is just not available.

Still, why not go off the beaten path and try out some of the other flavors too as an alternative? They’re all still very good.

So if you want to dine on some amazing food, in a nicely decorated place, then check out the Saya Cafe at City Walk Dubai. We promise, it’s going to impress you with its great food and views.

Pros

  • Great fountain views
  • Impeccable food presentation

Cons

  • Pricier compared to other cafes
  • Availability of items may fluctuate

Whenever you’re craving authentic Lebanese street food, Allo Beirut is definitely the best restaurant in City Walk Dubai to check out. It combines a wide variety of food as well as reasonable places in order to deliver a nice experience.

Allo Beirut is quite famous for its all-day breakfast sets, coming in either as a sharing plate for two or four depending on the group. Additionally, they also serve up some really amazing lunch options regardless of diners.

In our experience, it’s an amazing place to check out come lunch time, especially with the grill already cranked high.

Check out some nicely-done shish tawouk or grilled chicken breast cubes flavored by a special marinade. Or you can opt for some of their sandwiches, shawarma, and even burgers if you want something more portable.

Vegetarians shouldn’t feel too left out either. You get some vegetable-based options like salads, falafel sandwiches, and even a full vegetarian platter if you’re feeling quite hungry.

We should note that some of the portion sizes are a bit small at least compared to other places. Still, the affordable prices do make it easy enough to order more, maybe even switching up the flavors a bit.

It’s also a little loud, especially during peak hours. It may not be that fit for more intimate gatherings but the food is definitely a good reason to visit nonetheless.

We really recommend visitors to check out Allo Beirut in Dubai. Pop in for some grilled fare or a nice sandwich in order to get a hearty bite for the day!

Pros

  • Wide variety of food items on the menu
  • Very reasonable prices on food

Cons

  • Some portion sizes can be a bit small
  • Ambiance is a little on the loud side

Finally, we get to Sarabeth’s. Headed by award-winning restaurateur, artisanal baker, and jam maker, Sarabeth has also expanded into Dubai, in the trendy City Walk area.

Sarabeth’s serves up a wide array of food and specialty. While they’ve built a reputation for being a great bakery, they’ve also been known to serve some good main courses like pastas, salads, soups, and more.

It’s also a great place to top by for a spot of breakfast. You can get a nice hot cup of coffee or tea to go along with the great pastries that’s all freshly-baked from the oven.

Admittedly, the interior does feel a little small, at least when compared to other popular establishments. However, we did find it quite cozy, which makes it great for intimate gatherings like dates in our opinion.

Given the restaurant’s popularity, you can expect some waiting time both when it comes to lines and for the food to be served. Still, we think the excellent food does make it worth it.

We do advise car owners to come in early though. Sarabeth has fairly limited space and you might run out of parking if you come in late.

Nonetheless, Sarabeth’s is a very good option regardless if you’re visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We definitely recommend a visit to them as one of the best restaurants in City Walk Dubai!

Pros

  • Very comfortable interior
  • Helpful and welcoming staff

Cons

  • Long waiting times for the food
  • Restaurant space is a little small
