These 10 Dubai Activities in October Changed Our Lives

As much as I love traveling, I really can’t stand going out when it’s hot. The sun, sweating, and feeling sluggish just aren’t my thing.

That’s why when October comes around, I make sure to squeeze in as many adventures as possible so my friends and I have plenty to talk or write about.

Here’s a rundown of what we got up to in Dubai this October, so we’ll have loads of photos to post until the year’s over.

What October activities can I do in Dubai?

There are a bunch of October activities you can do in Dubai! You can trek in Hatta, watch a musical performance, celebrate Halloween in an amusement park, do watersports on a beach, and interact with dolphins.

The Hatta Mountains offer mild weather that we think is perfect for a great outdoor getaway in October. It’s also surrounded by the Hajar Mountains and covered in wavy highs and lows for adventurers who love to trek out there!

While we think this can be a daunting activity, hiking can also provide you with a peaceful time, whether young or old. On top of that, we believe discovering Hatta by foot is a very satisfying way to enjoy the scenery.

Pro tips:

  • Make sure to study the color-coded system of Hatta trails so you can match your physical ability accordingly: green for beginners, blue for intermediate, red for experienced, and black for very skilled.
  • Always prepare well before a hiking trip! Carry essentials like a trail map and other relevant equipment, as well as charge your mobile phone to 100%.

For us, even the higher seats can provide the audience with a great view! You may also bring your glass of wine, but the staff will change it to plastic as a safety measure.

Cool idea:

Before leaving Dubai Opera, why not stay longer to sample on-site dining options? Alternatively, you can take photos in the lobby while enjoying scenic views of the Burj Khalifa.

We think it’s also among the best free beaches in Dubai because of the many watersports you can do here. For one, you can try kitesurfing, wakeboarding, or stand-up paddleboarding.

Otherwise, those who don’t like getting wet can still get active with beach volleyball or mingle with new friends or other visitors.
