A Travel Guide to Motiongate Dubai

Dubai has some of the best theme parks in the world, each offering something unique to anyone who wants to have a good time.

But if you’re a fan of the movies, there’s only one theme park in the city that you should include in your bucket list: Motiongate Dubai.

Here, we’ll show you why this theme park is the only one of its kind in the world and what it has to offer.

What is Motiongate Dubai?

Motiongate Dubai is a theme park dedicated to the movies of four of Hollywood’s biggest movie studios: Columbia Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures and Lionsgate.

It’s one of the four theme parks in Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park in the Middle East.

Opened in 2016, Motiongate Dubai features attractions and rides inspired by some of the most successful movies in Hollywood.

The theme park is divided into six zones: Smurfs Village, DreamWorks, Lionsgate, Columbia Pictures, Studio Central and Hollywood Theater.

Each zone is not only inspired by the movies, but it also features different activities, meet and greet areas, rides and simulators that guarantee pure fun for all ages.

Best Time to Go

Motiongate Dubai is open all year round from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Fridays to Saturdays.
