The Lost Chambers Aquarium is a massive attraction within Atlantis The Palm that’s home to more than 65,000 marine animals.

Connected to the Ambassador Lagoon, the aquarium is designed to look like the Lost CIty of Atlantis with shipwrecks and remnants of the city to give you the full experience.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium carries more than 11 million liters of water where thousands of fish, stingrays and sharks swim freely.

The aquarium features more than 20 marine exhibits, some of which allow you to interact with its marine residents and even help feed them.

Best Time to Go

The Lost Chambers Aquarium is open daily. But if you want to avoid the crowd, it’s best to visit right when the attraction opens at 10:00 AM.

You should also try to avoid holidays and the Holy Month of Ramadan since the aquarium might be closed or its timings may change.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. But these timings may change during special holidays and during Ramadan.

How to Get Around

Trains: The Palm Monorail is the only train that goes through Palm Jumeirah where the Lost Chambers Aquarium is located. Start your journey from Palm Gateway and board the monorail until the Atlantis Aquaventure station. From here, you can walk to the attraction for about 12 minutes or take a taxi to get there.

Buses: Unfortunately, there are no bus lines that go inside Palm Jumeirah. But, you can take a bus going to Palm Gateway where the monorail starts and ride to the Atlantis Aquaventure stop to save money on transportation.

Taxis: A taxi is the most convenient option when getting to the Lost Chambers Aquarium. You can book a ride through Uber or Careem or hail a taxi from wherever you are in the city.

Car service: If you’d rather travel more exclusively and you have the budget for it, there are many chauffeured car services around Dubai. You can also rent a self-drive car to go around the city.

What to Expect from Weather in Lost Chambers Aquarium

Winter: From December to March, Dubai experiences temperatures ranging between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius, which is the most ideal time to visit the city. Although Dubai doesn’t experience snow or heavy rainfall, the fair weather during this time of year is best for going around.

Summer: Dubai experiences very hot summers with temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius during the daytime. So, any outdoor activity is discouraged and people are advised to stay indoors to avoid the extreme heat from June to September.

Transition period: As Dubai switches seasons, it also goes through transition periods from April to May and October to November.
