We love the condition of the car that we rented. It was noticeable that it has been recently cleaned, and it was delivered to us smelling nice and fresh.
On top of that, the car ran quite smoothly and we had no issues with it throughout our week’s worth of renting.
However, Al Emad definitely needs to expand the types of cars it offers. While it definitely has diversity in the brands covered, it lacks more choices when it comes to body types.
Right now, it only offers sedans and SUVs which are great economical choices for the majority of car renters, but it would be nice to see utility and luxury vehicles as well.
On top of that, the service is quite slow and unresponsive at times. It took multiple calls before someone answered, and the process of renting out a car was not streamlined based on our experience.
While we were definitely paying for cheaper fees, it does not mean that we deserve to go through so much effort just to book a car. Despite that, whenever we would interact with its staff, they have been nothing but friendly.
We also do not like the fact that it is not open 24/7, because this limits its accessibility to customers. On top of that, it does not provide roadside assistance.

Most rental cars in Dubai require a Credit Card, but Sixt will allow you to rent using your debit card. They will charge (block) your debit card, but 4 weeks later they will return the amount to your card.
