I’m flipping for these 13 places with the best waffles in Dubai!
I grew up in a home where I was always the odd one out. Unlike everyone else in the family, my 2nd toe is the longest, I’m the only one into horror movies, and probably the biggest deal for them during Sunday mornings? I prefer waffles over pancakes!
Don’t get me wrong. I love it when my loved ones gather on our free day to cook and eat together. But I just can’t warm up to pancakes the same way I do to my favorite crispy and fluffy golden waffles. So, I came up with a plan.
Every Saturday, I hit up a new dessert shop to treat myself and indulge in grid cakes. That way, I’m more open to pancakes the next day! Genius, right? If you also want to get a quick waffle fix, check out my list of top waffle spots in Dubai below.
Where can I get waffles in Dubai?
There are many cafes or dessert shops where you can get waffles in Dubai! Check out notable spots, like Dip N Dip, Waffle and Crepe, Granny’s Waffles, Stomping Grounds, and Waffles Lab for a sweet or savory grid cake.
Dip N Dip

Operating Hours:
- Saturday to Thursday – 10 AM to 11:30 PM
- Friday – 10 AM to 11 PM
Pricing: AED 1 – 50 per person
Is it time to update your Instagram or TikTok feed? I think Dip N Dip’s waffles in Dubai look like they’re made straight out of Willy Wonka’s factory! Everything’s got chocolate in it, so you better brace yourself for all the richness and gooeyness ahead.
For those with a crazy sweet tooth, I definitely recommend the signature triple chocolate waffle! I also like the regular chocolate waffle for classic flavor lovers and chocolate banana waffle for fruity fanatics.
And to balance out the sweetness, I say go for the Turkish coffee (usually without spices) or Arabic coffee (typically spiced) as well.
Quick fix tips:
Are you in a hurry? I suggest getting Dip N Dip’s lollipop-like waffle—it’s literally a waffle on a stick dipped in rich Belgian chocolate!
Alternatively, you may get dip sticks or skewers with a different treat of your choice (like strawberries, brownie bites, or marshmallows) coated in Belgian chocolate.
Waffle and Crepe

Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 9 AM to 12 AM
Pricing: AED 1 – 50 per person
If you’ve got the means for it, Waffle and Crepe is among the pricier options in the city. But looking at the wide array of options here, I think this waffle spot is worth exploring.
My recommendation would be the apple pie waffle with pecan nuts and caramel syrup. For me, it has a wonderful texture—great crisp, lots of fruits, and just the right amount of sweetness. Great for having a bit of everything, I say.
Other highlights for me are the Lotus waffle for biscuit aficionados and trio waffle for chocolate connoisseurs wanting all milk, white, and dark flavors. Be sure to grab some espresso, English breakfast tea, or fresh lemon juice to keep things balanced too.
Pointers for parents:
Take your children to Waffle and Crepe and let them try its famous waffle flavor, Kinder Joy waffles! You may also add extra chocolate to your milkshakes for only an extra AED 5.
Granny’s Waffles

Contact Details: +971 4 325 3256, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 5 PM
Pricing: AED 50 – 100 per person
Those who are searching for someplace convenient must try Granny’s Waffles—it’s right in the Dubai Mall! Plus, this spot is amazing with some of the most inventive flavors we’ve seen in the city.
Among my top picks are the “Twixy” caramel waffle (based on the famous candy Twix) and cotton candy waffle. Otherwise, I say go for the Canadian maple with butter—I think this is a safe option for picky eaters!
I also appreciate that there’s a long list of beverages here, whether you’re looking for an Italian roast, mango frozen juice, strawberry smoothie, or peach iced tea.
Savvy suggestion:
Consider getting Granny’s Waffles’ loyalty card to snag some handy points and save some dirhams in the future!
Stomping Grounds

- Monday to Sunday – 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM
Pricing: AED 50 – 100 per person
Stomping Grounds is a trendy Australian-owned cafe that offers some great-tasting waffles I think you should try at least once. It also provides tons of savory breakfast choices until 1 pm.
But what caught my attention are the Nutella waffles. Because let’s be honest—I don’t think you can go wrong with this nutty, chocolatey spread. On top of that, this is loaded with berries, bananas, strawberries, and whip cream for a decent flavor mix.
I’m also intrigued by the unique coffee flavors here. I reckon the iced ginger coffee, blackberry cold brew, or spiced dry Irish can make your sweet dining experience even more interesting!
Productivity hacks:
Stomping Grounds is typically peaceful at the beginning of the week, so I suggest bringing your laptop and getting a bunch of work done at the coffee shop!
You can take your pup with you too! This spot offers an air-conditioned outdoor area where you can bring your well-behaved pet for some adorable inspiration.

Did you know that waffles originated in Belgium? And if you’re craving some authentic grid cakes in Dubai, I think Yummy Belgian Waffles is among the best Dubai dessert shops to stop by.
The best sweets for me here is the volcano waffle. But don’t fret. Nothing about it is spicy! It’s got the typical mixed nuts, strawberries, and bananas all dipped in milk-white chocolate. But what makes it unique is its presentation—best to see it yourself!
Your kids might also love the Oreo Kinder waddle with vanilla ice cream. But I know how fussy some kiddos can be, so I appreciate that there’s also a plain waffle for them. I say get some Moroccan or Earl Grey tea too to calm your nerves too!
Money-saving move:
Know anyone with an Esaad card? Bring them with you to Yummy Belgian Waffles! This is a loyalty program card issued to government employees which they can use at places like this for a discount.
WOFL

Address: Next To Sofitel Hotel – The Walk – Jumeirah Beach Residence
Contact Details: +971 52 508 4367
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 2 AM
Pricing: AED 1 – 50 per person
As fun as its name sounds, WOFL (like waffle) actually takes its golden grid treats seriously—premixed batters are a no no here! Instead, the staff makes fresh batter with a handful of selected ingredients every time. I feel you’ve got to love the extra effort!
I have a thing with this store’s savory and crispy waffles, like the one aptly named “Dragon’s Breath.” It has sweet fried chili beef, yellow bell peppers, sour cream, and the like to give it a nice kick.
My palates can also get behind the sweet “The Mini Job” waffle with Ferrero cream cheese and soft ice cream for dessert afterwards. For me, the s’mores waffles with ice cream and homemade cookie chunks are a winner too!
Advice for messy eaters:
Can’t find tissues anywhere? WOFL provides free wet wipes at the end in case you’ve made a sticky mess. I advise asking for them at the beginning though, so you can eat your waffles more comfortably.
Eggspectation

Address: Shop # 1406, Roxy Cinema Building
Contact Details: +971 4 430 7252, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 7 AM to 12 AM
Pricing: AED 50 – 100 per person
Waffles for breakfast? You can expect a big brekkie selection at Eggspectation! One of the most popular morning choices here is the eggs Benedict with waffle and bacon. I love that this comes in big portions too!
If you’re keeping it light for dessert, I suggest going for the waffle a la mode with ice cream, banana, and chocolate sauce. Yet if you’re feeling indulgent, I feel the strawberry and salted caramel waffles are the way to go!
I also think it’s convenient that this restaurant cafe provides gluten-free items like veggie omelets and non-gluten bread if you need them.
Good to know:
Worried about where your car goes? Make the most of Eggspectation’s parking—it’s free for the first 3 hours! Just remember to bring your parking ticket at the restaurant for stamping.
Do note that the washrooms are located outside of the cafe as part of the mall. It’s a bit far away, so be sure to plan ahead.
Sarabeth’s

Address: City Walk – Al Safa Street 67
Contact Details: +971 4 344 9544, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 7:30 AM to 10 PM
Pricing: AED 50 – 100 per person
Sarabeth’s, the namesake New York-based cafe, is owned by award-winning artisan baker. This dining spot is known for its sweet breakfast, cappuccino, and vegan options like fruit bowls, black bean and corn salad, and sweet potato fries.
In my opinion, getting the buttermilk waffles is a no-brainer. This comes with fresh blackberry, strawberry, organic maple syrup, and Nutella for a nice burst of flavor.
There’s also a kiddie version without blackberries, so I bet the little ones can enjoy it too! Or, you can always order them the chicken waffle—one of the crowd favorites! As for the drinks, I believe the charcoal lemonade is as unique and tasty as it sounds.
Insider scoop:
Sarabeth’s is the least busy during Wednesday mornings, so I recommend making time on this schedule. Otherwise, plan to arrive earlier than peak hours or lunch and dinner to avoid waiting more than 20 minutes per order.
Godiva

Pricing: AED 70 per person
Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate—that’s how Godiva does it, whether it be for waffles, drinks, and other desserts.
If it’s your first time, I recommend the signature chocolate waffles, of course. Although, you can have strawberry or banana waffles too if that’s your thing. I like that you can customize them with or without ice cream and mixed berries.
But if you feel overwhelmed with all the sweetness from chocolate and fruits, I recommend trying other varieties like espresso chocolate to round out the flavors.
Gift idea:
Want to buy a gift for loved ones at home? Consider getting Godiva’s gift box with limited edition chocolate boxes filled with individually wrapped milk, hazelnut milk, and dark chocolates—this arrangement is suitable for most preferences!
Waffee Street

- Monday to Sunday – 7 AM to 1 AM
Pricing: AED 1 – 50 per person
Those who need a serene spot for study or work must try Waffee Street! Here, you can motivate or reward yourself with dessert and caramel coffee for a productive day out.
The waffles on sticks are the standout for me too. I’m in awe of the long list of flavors available—some of my favorite flavors are Nutella, cheese, and peanut butter.
There are also plenty of other desserts like pancakes, mini pancakes, and crepes to explore, which I feel keeps things fresh. For me, it’s going to take a long time before you can try them all. A great motivation to keep coming back, in my opinion.
Useful hint:
Waffee Street offers limited seating options (only 5 or 6 at a time), so I believe it’s wise to come by yourself or with only a small group of people.
Susan’s Baking Co

- Monday to Sunday – 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM
Pricing: AED 50 – 100 per person
Susan’s Baking Co is a lovely American cafe and bakery with numerous options for all diets. I also think the prices here are relatively affordable, considering it’s located in Downtown Dubai.
Among my top picks are chicken on waffle (crispy fried chicken and fluffy Belgian waffle) and apple pie waffle. The way I see it, the latter goes wonderfully with the burger as well!
Plus, the cafe is near The Address fountain views, so you can have a mini sightseeing or photoshoot session before or after your dining experience!
Convenient tips:
Free valet parking at Susan’s Baking Co is available only after 10 am, so make sure to plan ahead before visiting if you’re going to use it.
Consider ordering online to get up to a 10% discount. Just note that the delivery time period is only from 2 pm to 11 pm.
Waffles Lab

Contact Details: +971 4 334 3426
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 12 AM
- Shop may temporarily close now and then
Pricing: AED 55 per person
Waffles aren’t just for sweet dessert devotees but also for savory stans. Luckily, I believe Waffles Lab offers the best of both worlds. What’s more, I find it incredible that this shop offers free coffee for people of determination (POD)!
As for the waffles, I love the “Bam Bam” one—it’s got cheesecake bites, fruity pebbles, and white chocolate that make it a delightful explosion of flavors.
The churro crunch waffle (with cinnamon toast crunch) and strawberry babe waffle (with cream cheese and graham crackers) are also at the top of my list. And if you want to amp up the fun, I say check out the mojito drinks, such as the mixed berries!
Nifty trick:
Can’t decide which flavors to try at Waffles Lab? I recommend ordering the 6 mini waffles so you can taste a bit of everything before snagging a bigger portion.
Fresh & Berry

Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday – 10 AM to 12 AM
- Friday to Saturday – 10 AM to 1 AM
Pricing: AED 1 – 50 per person
Fresh & Berry is a small dessert spot in Dubai Mall that’s typically frequented by families—it’s got lots of waffles and gelato flavors to choose from! I say its cozy feel also makes it ideal for taking breaks after doing some groceries or shopping of some kind.
The best waffle flavor for me is the bubble waffle cone—I reckon the salted caramel, strawberry, and Nutella topping truly complement each other. But for a more mature palate, I recommend the pistachio bubble waffle with açai power on the side.
I also appreciate the shape of the bubble waffles, making them easier to hold. For me, this is handy if you just want to order them to-go and enjoy them while strolling around.
Friendly recommendation:
Fresh & Berry is located near the waterfalls area in the mall, so I advise visiting before or after peak hours to get a strategic spot for the views!
