That being said, we have noted that the portion sizes at the restaurant can be on the smaller side. It’s advisable for customers to try and ask for their set menu to get a sampler for their wide variety of dishes.

Bussola is a restaurant that is split into three concepts– a casual signature restaurant, a pizzeria, and a pool and beach experience.
The restaurant focuses on classic Italian cuisine and fresh house beverages, featuring favorites like pasta and fresh seafood. Customers craving pizza may also find their expanded pizza menu at the upper deck pizzeria.
Bussola also hosts a good variety of events. Some of these events, like their daily Cicchetti, come with their own promotions and special set menus, ensuring customers can dine without breaking the bank.
The views and outdoor seating at the restaurant have been praised by customers, featuring the waters of the Palm and the Marina high towers. In colder months, the restaurant even brings out a heater to ensure a comfortable time.
Service also doesn’t take long in the restaurant, which we found handy. The time it takes between being seated, ordering and receiving your food is quick, allowing more time to relax.
Customers should keep in mind that the menus at the restaurant are divided by the seating area, however. For example, pizzas from the upper deck cannot be ordered at the restaurant area below.
We found this to be quite confusing at times and we wish the restaurant does a better job explaining this to guests.
In any case, we would definitely recommend Bussola as a good place to stop by for a family outing. The restaurant’s views and location within the Westin hotel is definitely a plus for families on an extended trip.

The restaurant itself boasts a menu consisting of classic breakfast items, baked goods and special desserts. They also offer healthier dining options, such as smoothie bowls and avocado-based treats.
Brunch and Cake boasts a very attractive venue, with glass windows and doors allowing customers to take in the sights from every corner of the restaurant. The restaurant also contains their in-house bakery, allowing customers access to fresh pastries.
The venue’s atmosphere is only heightened by their amiable staff, who are attentive in just the right amount. Their recommendations can also be counted on to suit any customer palate.
We do recommend calling ahead though since parking fees can be unclear at times. This way, you won’t get any surprises on the bill.
Families celebrating events will also find themselves in luck, as the restaurant offers customized desserts and specialty ice cream– both perfect for child-friendly occasions such as birthdays.
That being said, thanks to the freshness guarantee and locally-sourced products used by the restaurant, their dishes do come at a higher price point.
Overall, Brunch and Cake is a must-visit for any family, thanks to the attractive venue and wide menu. Children will definitely love the myriad of sweets available, while adults can enjoy the brunch items.

Twiggy Family is, as its name implies, a very family-friendly venue. The restaurant itself is split into two, with the main restaurant area being separate from the lagoon area for children to enjoy the cool waters.
The live entertainment at the venue is also tailored for a younger crowd, with hit songs and lively music being played as backdrop to the kids’ play area.
