This school has some interesting historical roots. Established in 1979, the Dubai Music School was actually founded by MTV pop star Glenn Perry.

Perry has some 90s MTV hit songs, which include “Laila” and “Tonight.” His passion for music has led him to form the school, which until now accepts students at any level of musical knowledge.

What we noticed first about this institution are its fees. Dubai Music School offers eight, one-hour sessions for one month for only 250 AED.

This price does reach the average cost, and it is so far, the cheapest fee we’ve found!

But does that cheap price compensate for anything? Well, we did notice that the school’s spaces and rooms for classes were smaller.

In addition, the current location of the school holds limited parking spaces. You’ll be struggling to find one during classes, especially if your class hour coincides with other students.

How about the lessons? The company employs teachers, aside from Perry himself, who are experienced and knowledgeable in the instruments that they play.

According to the customers we’ve conversed with, the teachers are good at what they do. They make learning music easy and fun!

So, let’s say you’re interested: how do you apply? Simple– you just have to send an email and let them know what lessons you want to enroll in.

The school requires a registration fee of 50 AED and for the payment of all sessions upfront though before you get to be enrolled.

So far, those are the only requirements you need to be aware of.

Overall, Dubai Music School is a great, inexpensive, option for grabbing some of the guitar lessons you want!

Crystal Music Institute has been in the musical education business for a very long time. Founded in 1993, the school continues to focus on aiding people to learn more about music and dance.

What we like about this particular school is its fees. Guitar lessons are priced at around 200 – 300 AED, which is actually relatively cheap!

You might be worried about this price, but let me reassure you that the instructors are well-versed in the instruments that they teach. In addition, you can actually have a trial run before you decide to commit and enroll in their school.

Their facilities are on the okay side. It’s not the prettiest we’ve seen, but good enough for learning.

What we must point out is that compared to the others we’ve looked at, this is the only one that has a very short opening time. They are, however, open on all days of the week, so that’s a plus, we believe.

Now, let’s say you’re hooked: you’ve booked a trial run, you like their instructors, and you’re ready to enroll.

What does the Institute require of you? First of all, you are obliged to contact them or visit their location to actually start the enrollment process.

You are required to pay a small registration fee and the full price for the lessons you’ll be enrolling yourself in.

Overall, we recommend this school for its experience in handling students and their good prices. Try checking this Institute out as an option for your guitar learning adventure!

This one is pricey. Try enrolling here if you have the extra budget!

Melodica Music and Dance Institute is one of the most well-known and highly-rated schools in Dubai. Its reputation is certainly well-earned, so let us explain.

Depending on the package you pick (which includes how many sessions and minutes per session), you can be charged from 600 AED to 9600 AED. That’s expensive!

The company justifies its rates through a few things. One of them is their space.

The classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and aesthetically pleasing. Seeing them makes you feel like you’re in a good place to learn music.

When it comes to their guitar lessons, the company employs an experienced and diverse roster of teachers for their students. These faculty members are noted to be understanding, patient, and good at teaching students of any musical ability or knowledge.

In addition, their lessons are structured to match all guitar players, regardless if they own an acoustic, classic, or electric guitar.

This school exudes musical passion.

The Musical Expression Institute was founded by Lebanese pianist Philippe El Hage in an attempt to share his musical inclinations and passion with budding and enthusiastic students.

What we honestly noticed about this establishment is the care and enthusiasm they bring to their students. Their teachers are all well-educated, prestigious individuals who had years of teaching music on their belts.

Some of them even obtained musical masteries in the instrument they teach, which is amazing!

El Hage manages and continues to teach piano in the school as well.

The Institute has great spaces to induce learning. The classrooms are wide and well-lit, perfect for students who will sit in lessons.

When it comes to requirements, this is where the school gets a little strict. On par with other schools, you will be required to pay for everything in advance (or way before the lessons).

The classes they offer are only on an eight-lesson basis. You cannot just hop in for one full lesson and pay for that one only.

In addition, you are only allowed to have two cancellations or absences– the school will give you makeup classes on these lessons you did not attend.

Students are required to send a notice 48-hours before the lessons, which is a bit disappointing. What would happen if there was an emergency, right?

Customers are satisfied with the Institute’s quality of lessons, citing that it was very much worth every money they paid for.

Overall, we recommend this school for its passionate and amazing faculty. Check this place out if you’re looking for a potential school to enroll in!

This one feels like a very casual learning space, and that’s not bad at all!

My Music Head is a musical school catering to students who wish to learn various musical instruments. They also teach students how to sing and dance.

When it comes to their guitar classes, the school makes sure to employ government-approved teachers. This is reassuring, as it won’t feel like you’re wasting your money.

The instructors are also noted to be understanding, experienced, and very passionate about teaching and performing music.

Aside from the basics of guitars, the instructors can also teach various genres, such as rock, jazz, metal, reggae, and a lot more.

Looking at their facilities, we noticed that they are very narrow looking. It can certainly hold multiple students, yes, but it’s quite small compared to the rest of the schools we’ve looked at.

It certainly feels like you’re just on a casual jamming session with your instructors, with the way the school is designed.

Now, let’s say you’re interested, how does enrollment work? Well, for starters,  you can book a free trial run with them.

Just make sure to fill in the form on their website or give them a call so you can book a free class. This is also the same process you have to take when you’ve decided to enroll in their classes.

When it comes to pricing, according to the customers we’ve spoken with, they cite that there is good value for their money. Expect around average to a bit higher rates, then.

Overall, if you’re into a more casual learning environment, we recommend you go to this school and give it a try!
