The hospital is quite large, specializing in more than forty different medical and surgical procedures here in Dubai. They can also accommodate hundreds of patients at a time as a result.
As for their gastroenterology department, they’re able to cover a wide variety of illnesses and problems in their clinic.
These include chronic diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, ulcers, constipations, and even provide help for lactose intolerance here in Dubai.
We think this is very good coverage and the actual diagnosis and treatment itself is also quite good. Staff is polite and friendly, and the doctors were very thorough in checking all of our pain points and symptoms.
There are a few points of improvement we like to see. For one, the size of the hospital does mean that there are a few bottlenecks should you end up visiting on a very busy day.
Patients report encountering some long wait times when it comes to getting their needed medications from the pharmacy for instance. They also report some long hold times when calling on the phone for updates.
Nonetheless, we think the service is still one of the best in Dubai however. As such, we recommend those who need assistance with the following digestive problems to give them a try.

Medcare’s specialties include pain management, sports medicine, psychology, urology, gastroenterology, and many others. No matter what expertise you might need, Medcare should have it all for you.
Their gastroenterology department in particular, are said to be quite good at dealing with diseases in the liver as well as irritable bowel syndrome. We think they’re very good at helping with other digestive problems as well.
Service at the hospitals is quite efficient while still remaining polite. Nurses were very attentive and the doctors are quite good at probing for symptoms in order to get a good diagnosis and treatment plan.
Some patients did report waiting a while to get their results though. To be fair, the doctors did at least notify the patients that they may take a while to get some results.
There’s also a few patients who reported needing to sort out their insurance for a bit longer, leading to a delay. However, a lot of these cases do seem to be minimal and service is still very good as a whole.
As such, we do recommend Medcare and their gastroenterologists in Dubai. We think people can find good peace of mind from their thorough and professional service.

Clemenceau Medical Centre (CMC) aims to provide a good variety of healthcare services within the confines of their comfortable and state-of-the art clinics here in Dubai.
Though they were only founded back in 2008, they’ve been able to expand their clinics and equipment steadily across different areas in Beirut, Riyadh, and of course, Dubai.
Their gastroenterology centre is known for providing comprehensive treatments for stomach, anal, liver, esophageal, and liver diseases here in Dubai.
All of this is done in a rather modern, well-maintained clinic with a nice ambiance as well as a high standard of cleanliness upon our first visit. We think most patients will find the place quite comfortable while they undergo treatment or recover.
As for procedures, they do offer good diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy which we think allows them to cover a wide range of illnesses.
Service is overall, very good. Staff are quite accommodating and the doctors are very thorough when it comes to their examinations.
However, we have received reports of patients having problems when it comes to bringing up their records in the clinic. A few of them seem to have disappeared, leading to some delay when it came to sorting out details and payment.
We hope CMC is able to improve on this aspect a bit further in the future in order to ensure a smooth experience here in Dubai.
Overall, we do recommend CMC and their gastroenterologists in Dubai for all of your digestive treatment needs. We think patients should have a decent experience inside their clinic.
