My friend has always dreamed of singing alongside Taylor Swift someday. She even practices duets in front of the mirror, pretending she’s performing at Madison Square Garden.
The only problem is that she didn’t inherit any singing talent. Eventually, she decided to take singing lessons, hoping someone could help turn her off-key notes into real music.
After checking out a handful of schools and tutors, some of which made us wonder if singing in the shower was a better idea, we’ve found the best singing lessons in Dubai.

In Dubai, singing lesson prices vary by type and experience level of the instructor:

The teaching style here is modern without trying too hard to be trendy. They mix vocal techniques with ear training and performance coaching, and you can start noticing improvements pretty quickly!
On top of that, the classes include performance opportunities, so you get to try out what you’re learning in front of people instead of just practicing alone.

Melodica Music Academy makes learning to sing feel achievable. Their classes are built for every skill level, so even if you’re a complete beginner, you can see noticeable progress in a short time.
A big part of this is the teachers. With over 300 certified instructors, many with international experience, you’re not stuck with one style or approach. Some of them even give tips that you won’t find online, which is a nice bonus!
It’s interesting how they encourage you to improve quickly. They get you performing in recitals and events, which is scary at first, yes, but we all know you can learn faster when you actually go through it.
And if you’re planning to take exams, their curriculum lines up with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), Trinity College London (Trinity), and Music Teachers’ Board (MTB) standards, so you’re not guessing what to practice.
Classes are flexible, too. You can do private sessions if you want full attention, or join a group for the energy of singing with others.
The only downside is the price. It’s a bit expensive, so it might not be the best choice if you’re just looking for a casual hobby.

Brooklyn Melodies Music Center has been in Dubai since 2007, so there’s no questioning why they’re well-known around the city.
What sets them apart from other places is the choir opportunities. You’re not just learning to sing solo. You get to practice blending with a group, pick up harmony skills, and experience performing as part of an ensemble.
They offer classes for all levels, from children to adults, which we find really helpful, especially for anyone who wants to keep improving regardless of age or experience.
Performance isn’t an afterthought here. Students regularly take part in recitals and concerts, which makes practicing a lot more motivating than just running through exercises at home.
They have branches all over Dubai, including Studio City and Dubai Hills, so it’s usually easy to find one that fits your schedule without having to rearrange your whole day.
It’s just a bit disappointing to hear that experiences can differ depending on the teacher. Some students really thrive with certain instructors, while others might not feel as connected, so it can take a few lessons to find the right fit.

Dubai Music School makes learning to sing fun. My friend took her singing lessons here, and she always looks forward to each one.
Sometimes she comes home excited about a new breathing technique or a way to hit notes she used to struggle with. Other times, she talks about performing songs with more feeling, and she says practicing expression has made her more confident.
Dubai Music School has been open since 1979, so it’s well established. The lessons show the quality that comes from decades of experience.
Glenn Perry, the founder, is a pop artist with real stage experience, and that spills into how the instructors teach. They’re patient, practical, and know how to break things down without making it boring.
Their singing lessons also include exposure to instruments and music theory, which my friend says actually helps her understand songs better.
Unfortunately, singing lessons here are mostly in groups. Private sessions are available, but you need to contact them separately, which is a little inconvenient.

The Musicians LLC is the easiest singing lesson setup we’ve found. Lessons happen at home or online, which works great if your schedule is packed or if you just want to sing for fun without committing to a full music school. Not having to factor in travel time is a small thing, but it makes a big difference.
Since lessons are mostly online, we appreciate that pricing here is straightforward and there aren’t any hidden fees to worry about.
Scheduling lessons is surprisingly simple. You pick what works for you, and the instructors stick to it, so there’s no juggling around work or school.
The instructors bring energy to every session. They don’t just hand out exercises. They show you how to use your voice and break down techniques so you actually take something useful away.
If exams like ABRSM or Trinity are on your radar, they guide you through prep without making it feel intimidating.
The only thing to keep in mind is that everything is private, so you won’t get the buzz of a group class or a music campus vibe. For some, that’s not a problem, but it could matter if you like learning around other singers.
