Laundry Lounge is a self-service laundromat. This works if you’re the type who doesn’t want your laundry mixed up with others and prefer to do your laundry yourself. 

We appreciated the fact that they had free coffee and wifi at the place. It made washing clothes a much more enjoyable experience. 

We give them major plus points for their friendly ambience and accommodating staff who assisted us willingly. They were also very patient in answering questions and more than happy to guide us in how things worked. 

As for pricing, they charge 35 AED for wash and dry of a single load of laundry. Each cycle of wash and dry lasts for 30 minutes; should you exceed that, you have to pay 5 AED for every extra 10 minutes. 

You can bring your own detergent, but they also sell laundry soap for 10 AED in case you forget. Folding and drop-off also cost an additional 10 AED, should you choose to avail of that. 

If you want to make them your regular laundromat, they also offer plans that you can try, but they’re a little more expensive. Check this table to see the cost of their plans:

However a possible problem you may encounter is the waiting time when there are a lot of people. Although there are about 10 machines and dryers, if you come at a particularly busy time, it’s possible that you may have to wait. 

The good thing is that it is open 7 days a week and until late. So if possible, time your visits outside of peak hours. 

The good thing is if you do have to wait, it’s right next to a bunch of restaurants and coffee shops that you can go to in order to pass the time. There’s also a free play area for children nearby that’s perfect if you need to bring your kids along with you.

We find it convenient that they offer a pick-up and delivery option for free. This is great especially if you’re too busy to go to the laundromat yourself. 

You’ll be able to get your laundry delivered back to you in 24-48 hours. It’s just unfortunate that they don’t have express delivery options should you need your clothes back sooner. 

Should you drop your laundry personally, it is located in a convenient location next to a supermarket. So you can do a quick grocery run while waiting for your laundry to be done. 

As for pricing, they charge per item of clothing. Prices depend on what kind of clothing it is. 

We took a peek at their price list on their site and we noticed they have lower prices compared to their competitors. So if ever you’re on a tight budget, this is a good contender.

Whites was established in 2019, so they’re a bit younger compared to their competitors. However they are well worth the mention because of their impressive track record and high customer satisfaction. 

They have three branches in Dubai: Dubai Marina Mall, Waitrose, and Emaar Marina Walk. These branches are located in shopping centers, making it convenient to find and go to. 

Should you have no time to drop off and get your laundry yourself, they offer pick-up and delivery free of charge granted that your total reaches 100 AED.  They also promise next day delivery, which is great if you need your laundry back right away. 

Aside from washing and pressing, they also offer couture and bridal service. This shows that they can handle complicated laundry jobs with great care. 

In their own words, they give garments the most delicate treatment. This holds up based on our experience and what other customers say. 

They are very particular with how they handle laundry, even taking into consideration specific requests from customers. To be able to do that and still give back laundry the next day is pretty impressive to us. 

Should their service be not up to your standards, they will redo the service for free. You just need to coordinate with their staff, who we think are very friendly and accommodating. 

The quality of their service comes with a price, though. We noticed that they charge higher than their competitors. 

They charge you per article of clothing, with a specific price point for each type of clothing. They offer laundry bundles at a discount, but the prices are still pretty steep.

They offer free pick-up and drop off of your laundry within 48 hours. However note that large orders and those that require stain removal might take longer than that. 

We asked and they do have a rush service if you need your clothes to be delivered in 24 hours, but you have to pay a small fee. 

Image Laundry offers a wide range of services. Aside from washing, pressing, and drycleaning, they also offer the following:
