Kohler is a well-known brand for its high-quality toilet models. The Memoirs toilet is not an exception to its long line of great toilets!
What we like the most about this model is its height. Marketed as a toilet with a “comfort height,” it stands tall at around 16.5 inches (41.91 cm).
Its tall distance from the floor to the rim of the toilet allows ease of standing up or sitting down while doing our business, which is always welcome. The chair-height seating is great for most adults, too!
Aside from its height, the two-piece toilet comes in a stately and elegant finish, which is perfect for simple but elegant bathroom designs. It could look a little out of place in non-elegant bathroom designs, though.
Appearances aside, the toilet is equipped with a powerful and quiet gravity flush. The flush system can handle the hardest solids with ease.
While it has a great flushing system, the Kohler K-3933-0 consumes around 1.28 gallons (5.82 L) per flush. This is higher than the usual rate of water consumption.
The company clarifies that regardless of the consumption rate, the toilet model can save as much as 16,500 gallons (75,010 L) of water annually.
Lastly, the model is easy to install and maintain. Don’t let its stately finish fool you.
With its great perks and features, the Kohler K-3933-0 is the perfect elegant toilet model for your home!
Pros
- Comfort height feature
- Quiet and powerful flushing system
Cons
- High water consumption compared to set average
- Elegant design may not fit universally (aesthetically)
Customer Reviews
Aside from the odd mentions of how odd it is to have the name “memoirs” for a toilet, most customers praise this toilet model for its flushing power and design. One small criticism is aimed at the Kohler K-3933-0 Memoir’s comfort height being too high for some people.
Other reviews positive reviews are as follows:

“ I was looking for something elegant for my powder room. I selected the Dune color. Fits perfectly in the room and looks very elegant. The flush is super strong. Great product!” – unnamed Amazon User
Great Flush, Saves Water

Height | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |

Another Kohler model on this list! The Woolworth Classic Pressure Lite is a two-piece toilet that is marketed as an eco-friendly model.
Its high water consumption provides more power to its flushing system, which is highly applauded by people who purchased the model. Unfortunately, the toilet does get too loud during flushing.
However, regardless of the noise, the Woolworth model is an amazing unit for clearing away all the dirt in your toilet. This super powerful toilet steers away clogs for long periods of time.
Another great feature of this toilet is its height. While not in the “comfort height” range of the brand, the model stands at 15.6 inches (39.6 cm)*, which is not bad for adults and kids.
When it comes to installation, this model is easy to assemble and attach to your bathroom. In addition, with its light weight, the Woolworth Classic Pressure Lite can be lifted with ease to move it around the home.
Even with all of its perks and great flushing power, one thing we did not like about this is its price.
Unfortunately, we’ll be marking this model as being priced too high, as it does not come with a toilet seat. You need to purchase a seat separately, which adds more cost to your expenses.
Pros
- Eco-friendly special feature
- Powerful flush
- Less frequent plunging needed
- Easy installation
Cons
- High water consumption
- Toilet seat not included
- Makes a lot of noise
- Expensive
Customer Reviews
Works better than expected
“Didn’t know what to expect with the pressure assist but this toilet definitely flushes hard. It does make a lot of noise to the point my son said it sounds like the toilet on an airplane, which is actually extremely accurate. Even with the sound I love it for the main floor bathroom. The flush is so strong i doubt even my boys can clog it. It’s also a conversation piece for any guest that has used it! I will admit as much as I am happy with this toilet that I bought a different one for the bedrooms given the sound of the flush. Will buy another for the basement bathroom though.” – A.•• ••ee, via Ubuy
Clean and comfortable
“I installed this by myself and so far have had no problems. It’s loud, as expected, but it doesn’t leave anything in the bowl when flushed!”

Designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez for Duravit, the Durastyle One-Piece Toilet is a model with great flush capacity and a good modern aesthetic look.
Its dual flush system allows users to pick between different flush modes, which allows the model to conserve water per flush. In addition, its eco-friendly design does save water every flush as well!
Unfortunately, while the toilet looks great and flushes well, it has some drawbacks. One of them is its size.
The Duravit model is wide, to the point that some may not be comfortable sitting on it. Kids may fall into it without a special toilet seat.
Another drawback is that buying this model would force you to make another purchase. The toilet seat and seat cover are not included, which is a bit unfortunate.
It does cost lower than the previous model mentioned in the list, which also does not come with a toilet seat.
Overall, Duravit’s Durastyle One-Piece Toilet does come with some drawbacks. However, its sleek, modern look and flushing capacity makes up for some of them.
We recommend this particular model for those who are looking for a wide toilet. In addition, this model is for those who are looking for a modern-looking toilet with eco-friendly features!
Pros
- Easy to install
- Great modern look
- Dual flush capacity
Cons
- Heavy
- Large size
- Toilet seat and seat cover sold separately
Customer Reviews
Big Size
“I wish I read the review that mentioned it is too big. I think my husband who is over 200 lbs is the only one that feels comfortable with it. I’m 150 lbs and it’s not comfortable, and kids simply fall into it. Even with the kids toilet seat, it doesn’t lay on this wide Duravit seat comfortably and tends to fall into the toilet when kid add his weight into it. Luckily we have multiple bathrooms and kids just go to the one where an older and smaller toilet is still installed. There should be a warning!” – Ostelia, via Amazon
High Quality, Easy To Install
“This is very high quality made toilet, easy to install and I replaced another manufacturer’s new toilet that was beautiful, but flawed.
What I like is very precise finish that is of much better level that of many competing products that cost even more. This is not a cheap toilet, but Duravit is old and famous German brand and I would recommend it over some exotic new brands that copy nice designs, but overall execution is of much lesser quality. This toilet also looks much nicer in person, it is contemporary, clean design that fits modern bathrooms. I found it at better price from other seller outside of Amazon, due to coupon I’ve got from them recently.” – Dalle, via Amazon
Great Flush, Saves Water
“I love this toilet, the design fits my home just perfect. It flushes like a dream and saves water. I plan on replacing my other 2 toilets with this soon.” -Jo, via Amazon Reviews
4. TOTO Drake II 1G Two-Piece Elongated 1.0 GPF Universal Height Toilet with CEFIONTECT
Criteria | Ratings |
Size | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Toilet Style | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Height | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Flushing Technology | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Water Usage | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
Bowl Shape | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
Appearance | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
Price | ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) |
This one is on the pricey side!
TOTO’s Drake II Two-Piece Toilet is the lightest model on this list. The lightweight makes carrying it around the house before installing it very easy.
Another great thing about this model is that it consumes a low amount of water! The Drake II uses only a gallon per flush, which is the least amount of water consumption on the list.
Even if it uses a small amount of water, its flushing power does not compensate for it. The Drake II still flushes really well with its gravity flush system.
Along with its flushing system, the toilet comes with a special hole-free, rim-free design. This assists in rinsing the bowl more effectively while flushing.
In terms of height, the toilet stands at 16 inches (40.6 cm), which allows more room for standing and seating down comfortably.
While having many great features, the Drake II also has a few drawbacks. One of them is the lack of a toilet seat.
With its expensive price, one would expect that there’s a toilet seat included this time. Unfortunately, it must be purchased separately.
In addition, the toilet is designed in a way that makes cleaning it more frequent. There is no issue with the toilet bowl, worry not!
The overall design of the toilet comes with a lot of curvatures. This is most frequent in its floor mount.
Dust and dirt can easily accumulate there, which can make you clean it more frequently.
Overall, TOTO’s Drake II 1G offers a lot of great features to justify its expensive price tag. If you have the extra money to purchase the model and a separate seat cover, this model is highly recommended.
Pros
- Low water consumption
- Light
- Great flush
Cons
- Expensive
- Toilet seat sold separately

Minimal Water Waste
“Excellent toilet the best by far. Wastes minimal water and flushes amazing. I have have bought two from this company and they are the best at packaging the item so its not damaged.” – S.•• ••va, via Ubuy
Easy To Maintain Toilet Bowl
“The Drake 2 is an amazing toilet. I was slightly skeptical about the hype, you see it all the time – “Sanagloss technology, only 1 gallon, great power” yadda yadda yadda – seemed like the typical over-sell. I liked the look of this toilet, figured if it was half as good as they said, I’d be pretty happy. I must say I’m thrilled with this great toilet! The SanaGloss coating is the real deal. I don’t know that I can say it’s perfect, but it has really proven to stay cleaner, deuce after deuce, flush after flush. I’ve had this thing for going on six months and haven’t had to use the plunger once. From this bowl forward, I will only buy Toto. As a side note, the bowl came in incredible packaging with not a scratch on it. I’m very impressed. This toilet was MUCH cheaper than getting from my local guy (good luck finding one!) and the shipping was free.” – Ke•• ••oc

Customer Reviews
Easy Installation
“I need a toilet that is even less than the narrowest width of 27”—that’s what they sell at Home Depot but I knew that several ins make a huge difference in a small bathroom. This is considered European size but it flushes very well, looks 2-3x more expensive that it is . I opt for this instead of a wall/hanging toilet bc the cost of installation is too much, while this is just as space-saving. It def feels high end and designer-product. My contractor have no issues installing it—it is easy to install like a standard toilet, he said.” – Th•• ••er, via Ubuy
