We think the prices are quite fair and the menu itself works best as a complement to the sports viewing experience. There was some waiting time for our snacks however, even during less crowded hours.
In our opinion, the viewing experience was quite satisfactory. While the crowd being lively is expected, we think the sound system could be a bit louder to hear the matches.
Rodeo Drive is very accessible as well, thanks to its close proximity to the Trade Centre. You can find decent parking space even during rush hours.

They offer a good selection of alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices, especially if you go during one of their special nights like Gentleman’s Nights. We think this also makes them a good after-hours drinking destination.
Food selection is quite decent, with popular favourites like burgers and wings readily available. However, they don’t have a lot of options for vegetarians which is unfortunate.
Main courses are pretty delicious, and the steaks are cooked at the right temperature. They serve pork as well, for people who can consume it.
Drinks are quite a good deal though we think the servers need to be a bit more attentive during the games. Some customers have reported waiting for a long time before getting their refills.
We like how the pub can be quite lively and energetic when there’s an anticipated game playing yet can wind down to a quieter, relaxed atmosphere from time to time.
In our opinion, this makes it a good stop for visitors and even families outside major sporting seasons.

The facilities are quite well-organised and in our opinion, the way the bar created a section for non-alcohol drinkers is quite good. This helps keep kids away from the noise and bustle of the bar area.
Seating is quite okay though we think the chairs can be a bit uncomfortable at times.
Still, we do appreciate how customers are given the choice to sit indoors or outdoors. The outdoor seats do have a decent view outside when it’s not too hot out.
They have a good number of sports games playing, with most major events covered. However, it is disappointing to see that they don’t have streaming rights for other events like the UFC.
As a result, we think prospective customers may want to ask in advance before visiting or booking only to find that their preferred game is not available.
Food is quite good though, with their steaks and pizzas coming highly recommended by customers. We think their burgers and sandwiches are quite delicious as well.
In terms of waiting times, it’s pretty reasonable. We didn’t wait too long which is good since the food can lean on the expensive side for most items.
It’s definitely worth checking out, especially if they have your favourite games airing.

Barrels Sports Arena is another reputable sports bar in Dubai located at the Majestic City Retreat Hotel. They have earned a reputation for their great ambiance and for the overall great experience.
We think this reputation is quite earned based on their facilities. They have comfortable seats and an excellent wooden motif adorning the walls and tables.
In our opinion, this makes it quite cosy, spacious, and comfortable. Their wide-screen TVs are also quite bright and the sound is rather good even during crowded weekends.
The sports viewing experience is really good. We were told that they don’t have cricket however, so customers looking to watch them may want to look somewhere else.
Barrels offers a good selection of food and alcoholic drinks across their menu. We think the selection is quite decent though we have to note that vegetarian and vegan options are a little limited.
Waiting times for their starters and their simpler meals are okay. However, we think some items do take long to get to the table; longer than it usually takes in other places.
Food prices are quite competitive in our opinion. Customers may also want to check out their weekend club nights with the dance floor open.

We think the crowd during a particularly good game to be quite pleasant enough. Though we do advise against going on the weekends if you’re not keen on crowds.
Pub is also pet-friendly, which is good for those looking to bring their furry friend along.
Parking space can be quite inconvenient on the other hand. It’s a little out of the pub’s way, so customers will need to walk a fair bit from their cars.
The Irish Village offers customers the chance to choose between their indoor seating and their open area. We do want to note that the open areas can be quite hot in the afternoon though.
Still, the outdoor area does offer a great view of the lake populated with some ducks. For major sports events, they may even set up air-conditioned tents for outdoor diners.
In terms of food, we found them to be quite satisfactory and delicious. Cottage pies and gravy were quite popular with the kids, so we think parents can let them try some as well.
