In this article, we’ll walk you through common questions such as how much skydiving costs, along with our choices for the best companies for skydiving in Dubai.
How much does skydiving cost in Dubai?
There are two types of skydiving offered in Dubai – outdoor and indoor skydiving. These have different price points that we will be discussing in detail below.
For outdoor tandem skydiving, the price will depend on the location of the drop zone and the inclusions. See the prices below:
Take note that if you want an additional Instagram video aside from the photo and video documentation they offer, you have to pay an extra 100 AED. The Instagram video is simply an edited 1-minute highlight of your jump that is ready for posting.
As mentioned before, Dubai also has indoor skydiving. There are two places you can go to in order to try this in Dubai: iFly Dubai and Inflight Dubai.
For iFly Dubai, they offer a standard package, ultimate package, and a virtual reality skydiving experience. Look at the prices below:
For Inflight Dubai, on the other hand, there are two options: one for first-time flyers and one for experienced flyers. Here are the prices of the packages right now, for your reference:

Established in 2010, Skydive Dubai has been in the business for quite some time. Ever since their start date, they have entertained thousands of people worldwide who seek the exhilarating experience of skydiving.
Skydive Dubai offers two different drop zones for skydiving: Palm Dropzone and Desert Dropzone. What sets the two apart is the view you’ll be enjoying as you leap from 13,000 feet above ground.
For the Palm Dropzone, you’ll be skydiving above the Palm Jamaica where you’ll get a good view of the Palm islands and the Dubai skyline. For the Desert Dropzone, as the name suggests, you will be getting a bird’s-eye view of the desert and the sand dunes.
Upon checking, the Desert Dropzone is a bit more affordable compared to the Palm Dropzone. However, the fees are really on the high side, especially if you want full documentation.
Aside from the view, however, the process and overall experience are the same for both locations. Here’s what you can expect for both:
Once you arrive at the facility, you will sign required forms and have a checkup where they will assess your height, weight, and other important factors. Next, you will be briefed by your instructor about the safety procedures and other reminders, so make sure to listen carefully.
For first-time and inexperienced divers, they’ll have to do tandem skydiving, where a professional will be attached to them with a harness. The trained professional will be in charge of the jump, parachute deployment, and of course, the landing.
After the briefing, it will be time for gearing up and safety checks on the equipment and even the aircraft. After that is a 20-minute airplane ride before you reach 13,000 feet, your exit altitude.
From there, you will be harnessed to your instructor and jump from the aircraft. The jump will last anywhere from 5-7 minutes.
The free fall usually lasts around a minute. After that, the parachute is deployed, and you can enjoy the view as you slowly descend until landing.
As you can see their system is very organized and uniform. You know exactly what to expect because they have a cohesive system.
Skydive Dubai also seems to have well-trained and professional staff. This held up in our experiences with them as well as in their client reviews – a lot of their past customers say that the instructors were friendly, professional, organized, and reliable.
This shows us that customer service is their strong point. This is great because it is very important for people to feel secure and safe when doing an activity like this.
Something to note too is that Skydive Dubai’s site is intuitive. It is fairly easy to book a slot on their website.
They are also reachable on their hotline for any additional questions or inquiries. That accessibility gets them plus points from us!
Pros
- Professional and well-mannered instructors
- Organized process
- Intuitive website – easy to book
Cons
- Fee is on the high side
- Inconsistent schedule
Customer Reviews:
A trip of a lifetime
What a great experience from start to finish! The staff were prompt and informed of each technique in a comprehensive fashion for a beginner. Very well organized and really a trip of a lifetime. Would do it 100 times over with this company. In addition, the photos came so quickly, much faster than the 48 hour guarantee! A special thank you to Alberto, my instructor! I felt super comfortable! -Ashley Huffmon
The atmosphere was very friendly
It was awesome! I did my skydive at the Palm Zone in December 2021 with the amazing team of instructors, Alex, and photographer Debi. They were great: Alex made me feel safe and secure, I could trust him 200%. And Debi was so smiley , friendly and cheerful! It was such a great pleasure and fun! The whole team at Skydive showed highly professional work and are such nice people. I did not have any doubts, neither regretted it any second. The atmosphere was very friendly during the preparation and incredibly lovely on the plane. We were laughing all the way through . The jump itself is very fast, you don’t have to do anything except trusting your instructor and during the free fall, look at the photographer and try to smile even though it might be a bit difficult due to the heavy blow of the air. After the parachute opens, you can enjoy a relaxing time and amazing views of the Palm and Dubai skyscrapers! I would definitely recommend trying it if you are interested and not to be scared! Emotions are amazing! -Ekaterina Krivolap
2. iFly Dubai

1. AFFORDABILITY | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
2. EASE OF PROCESS | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
3. ACCESSIBILITY | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
3.1 Intuitive Website | ★★★☆☆(3/5) |
3.2 Responsiveness | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
4. PROFESSIONALISM | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
4.1 Friendliness | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
4. 2 Helpfulness | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
iFly Dubai offers an indoor skydiving experience that is open even to children aged 3 years old, which is pretty amazing for those with little ones.
If you’re wondering how they can take on kids, it’s because you’ll get a simulation of a gravity-defying skydiving experience inside their pressurized double vertical wind tunnels. No one is actually jumping out of a plane here.
Cheating, you say? Not necessarily – it depends on what you’re looking for or what you can handle, safety-wise.
For one, we think indoor skydiving can be a good family bonding activity. Their fees here are also cheaper compared to competitors, which is something to consider.
Now they even have a promo going on without an end date that you can check out on their website. The fees are reduced significantly for all packages, so it’s worth looking into.
Note that you are advised to pre-purchase tickets online to avoid delays. Their website is a bit cluttered, though, making it inconvenient to look through their services.
Despite this, it is still pretty easy to book an appointment on their site. When booking an appointment, you get three options (first-time flyers, ultimate package, and VR experience) that you can choose from.
For the first-time flyers option, you’ll get two flights, a training session, flight gear, personal instructor, and a flying certificate. For the ultimate package, you get everything in the first-time flyer’s option except you’ll be getting four flights instead of two.
The virtual reality experience is when you get to simulate a real-life skydiving session through their technology. In this package, you get five flights, with one being a VR flight.
Like the previous two packages, you also get a training session, flight gear, a personal instructor, and a flying certificate with the VR experience package.
They are actually the only company that offers the VR experience package, so if this is something that interests you, you don’t need to look elsewhere (well, you can’t!).
When you get there, you’ll be assessed and you’ll also sign some waivers. It is best to already read them online prior to your appointment to save time as they’re available on their website.
You are advised to get there 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to make time for the assessment. Then they’ll hold a training session where instructors will give you a rundown of everything that will happen and give you tips on how to hold your body once you’re inside the tunnels.
After the training session where all of your questions will be answered, you’ll be instructed to gear up. You will be getting a wind-suit, protective eyewear, a helmet, and earplugs upon request.
From there, you’ll get to experience the wind tunnels where you’ll experience your flight. They’ll suspend you in the air inside the tunnel, which might take some time getting used to.
After that, you’ll be given a certificate to commemorate your experience.
As you can see, they have a structured system. So it’s easy to follow and everything is organized well.
Our poll of their previous customers shows that people think their staff are helpful and friendly. We have to agree.
However, quite a few also mentioned that albeit rates are lower than competitors’ fees, they think the prices are still a bit steep considering the flight time is so short.
As for their location, It is in a mall, so it is in a very accessible location to many. You don’t have to worry about parking or how to get to the place.
For the restrictions, even though weather is not a factor since it’s indoors, there are still some that you have to keep in mind. Indoor skydiving is not allowed for those pregnant, over 115 kg, or with recurring shoulder injuries.
If you have a history of any neck, back, or heart problems, make sure to consult with your doctor first before booking an appointment too.
Pros
- Accessible location
- Cheaper fees than competitors
- Friendly staff
- Structured system
Cons
- Website is cluttered
- Little value for money (short flights for the price)
Customer Reviews:
What a great experience
Amazing form of exercise and very freeing. Fantastic gift idea and unique way of teaching someone to learn the subtle nuances of body movement and impact of such slight changes as hand angles etc. It does feel so real. Staff are very informative and responsive to each diver’s unique abilities. Oh my gosh, what a great experience. It’s very much like the real thing. Great instructors and the rest of the staff were just as great. If you really want to have a great time go to ifly!! -T-Nash Dominique Nyambrigas
Very patient, friendly, and helpful
This was a really thrilling experience. My kids (11 and 9) loved it and I also found it fascinating.
The instructions were simple and easy to follow, but the key to enjoy the ride is to relax and have fun. The first flight is to get acquainted with the basics but the second is where the instructor helps you experience a simulation of skydiving. I would’ve definitely gone for a 3rd flight! The instructors (both in the tube and before) were very patient, friendly, helpful and experienced. -Nick K.
3. Inflight Dubai

1. AFFORDABILITY | ★★★☆☆ (3/5) |
2. EASE OF PROCESS | ★★★★★ (5/5) |
3. ACCESSIBILITY | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
3.1 Intuitive Website | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
3.2 Responsiveness | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
4. PROFESSIONALISM | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
4.1 Friendliness | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
4. 2 Helpfulness | ★★★★☆ (4/5) |
Inflight Dubai is the home of the world’s largest and tallest wind tunnel. It is 5 meters wide, and 20.7 meters tall, with a wind speed of over 282 kilometers per hour, which we think makes for a thrilling experience.
The booking process is quite easy because the site is intuitive and simple. They are also responsive to inquiries.
When you book, you get a lot of options for the packages. You can book for one person or for a group of over 24 people.
The price will depend on how many flights you will get. Fair warning that the prices can get a bit steep, considering that the flights are pretty short.
Once you have booked and paid for your session (they accept Visa and Mastercard), here’s what you can expect:
First you have to check in and do the pre-flight safety checks, where they will assess whether you are fit enough for the activity.
Note that you have to be at least six years old to be able to do indoor skydiving at Inflight Dubai (so the previous option is better if one of you is younger than that).
Next, they’ll provide the gear you’ll need to keep you safe, such as the suit, safety goggles, and a helmet. Once you are geared up, they will hold a training session where they’ll walk you through the process and show you how you should conduct yourself inside the tunnel to get the best experience.
After that you’ll get to do indoor skydiving! Their tunnels are meant to simulate the weightless and adrenaline-pumping skydiving experience in the safety of the indoors.
After the experience, you get to take off your gear and have a debriefing session, which we think is important. There you can assess what you felt and can bring up any concerns you may have.
Inflight Dubai’s customers seem to be pleased by the professionalism and helpfulness of the instructors. We had nothing to complain about, ourselves, when we tried them out.
The fee is on the high side, as we mentioned before, but based on our poll of their customers, they mentioned that it’s probably because of the facilities. So, the majority believed that the price they paid was worth the service they were given.
You can also get pictures and other merchandise in their store. However, they are a bit pricey.
One downside is that this place is a bit hard to get to because of its location, especially if you don’t have a car. So make sure to prepare for that before booking an appointment with them.
Once you get there, however, there is ample parking available, so you don’t have to worry.
If you’re an experienced skydiver, the facility is next to the Skydive Dubai Desert Campus. So, you can combine flying in the tunnel with actual skydiving one day!
Pros
- Ample parking
- Largest and tallest wind tunnel in the world
- State-of-the-art facilities
- Intuitive website
Cons
- Location is a bit far from the city
- Fee on the high side
- Merchandise is a bit expensive
Customer Reviews:
The guide was supportive
This is one place you have to visit and activity you have to do whenever you are in Dubai. The adrenaline rush is out of this world especially when you go into the tube. The guide was supportive and always made sure I was doing the right thing, though it was an intense feeling.
It has prepared my mind on what to expect from outdoor Skydiving and I can’t wait to try it 😁. Pay good attention to the pre-flight training given, it would make you enjoy your flight.
It’s quite a distance from the city, so you have to leave quite early to meet up with your appointment and ensure your vehicle waits for you until you’re done. I’ll recommend you visit always. Great experience and get souvenirs too.- Anthony Olisa Jr.
Highly recommend checking this place out
My wife and I wanted to try something different and found indoor skydiving to be the right level of thrill seeking for us.The instructor we had was amazing and he made sure we were comfortable and felt safe so that we could enjoy our flights. If you’re looking for something a little different to do while visiting then I highly recommend checking this place out.-Sir Kooze
Quick Guide: What do we have to remember as first-time skydivers?
Here are some things to take into consideration when skydiving for the very first time:
Weather
For obvious reasons, the weather is a very important factor when skydiving (outdoors, anyway). If there’s fog, rain, poor visibility, or harsh winds, the schedule of your jump can be moved or canceled.
They recommend that you book slots for the early morning in order to prepare for such changes.
Clothing
Make sure to wear loose but fitting clothing when you’re scheduled to skydive. Pair that with comfortable sneakers, and you’re good to go.
They’ll provide you with a jumpsuit for the dive, typically, along with the necessary equipment.
Age
Take note that you have to be 18 or older to skydive outdoors in Dubai.
Should a child between 12 to 17 years of age want to skydive, they will need the consent of their parent or legal guardian and they have to be accompanied by their parents/guardian on the day of the dive.
Weight
There’s a weight limit for women and men: for women, it’s 90 kg; for men, 100 kg. If you exceed this limit, you have to get medical clearance to be able to skydive.
Rest
Although it’s understandable to have a lot of nervous energy prior to this activity, try to get plenty of rest before the day of the dive. This will ensure that you enjoy the dive better.
Food
Make sure to eat light before the dive. Remember also that you are not allowed to drink or take narcotics – they will have a thorough check before you go skydiving.
Medical Conditions
Should you have any medical conditions, consult with your doctor first and secure a medical certificate before skydiving. You are not allowed if you are pregnant, have recurring injuries, or have cardiovascular or neurological conditions.
