I also like that the soft play area for the bigger kids is almost separate from the area for smaller kids. It’s less likely a bigger kid will run against and push the smaller kids. Orange Wheels is the first indoor playground featured on this list. They are quite young with a bit more than four years of operation but they’ve accumulated a good number of loyal customers over time.
They take pride in creating a play environment where parents can easily monitor their kids as they play without feeling bored themselves. They have a cafe where adults and their friends can catch up too while their kids play.
Orange Wheels has a good selection of attractions and props that kids of varying ages can just dive in and play with.
Kids can play around tunnels, slides, and a bunch of other colourful areas designed to let their imaginations loose and even go roleplaying if they want.
Their rates are quite affordable too, both in the play area and the cafe proper, making it a good place to relax for a bit while the kids go on their little adventures.
It’s a popular place catering to varying ages which does mean that it can be a little crowded on most days. Some parents may feel a bit exhausted by the noise level and activity going on.
The cafe is nice but we think the selection of dishes that kids can enjoy is a little on the small side in our opinion. We think visitors should keep this in mind in case they’re counting on just taking their snacks there.
Still, Orange Wheels’ vast selection of activities should be sufficient for keeping a kid entertained for a couple of hours. We definitely recommend checking them out.

Adventure Parx & Cafe presents itself as a fun, indoor playground and cafe for the enjoyment of both the adults and kids of all ages. They provide enough facilities for kids to just have fun under the watchful eye of their play attendants.
Their play areas are admittedly a little smaller than other places we visited but we do appreciate how clean and how bright it all looked during our visit there.
They were able to fit a wide array of facilities such as a trampoline, some slides, an obstacle course, and even some climbing spaces with the necessary safety precautions and padding for kids’ safety.
Due to being smaller though, we have heard customers mention that sometimes, there aren’t enough of certain props and equipment for all kids on a given day. For example, there supposedly weren’t enough safety helmets at a time.
Still, this shouldn’t be too big of a problem if you arrive at a less busier time or if you arrive early.
There’s a cafe for parents who wish to watch over their kids. Like the play area though, it is a little on the small side, which we think is unfortunate as it’s one of the few seating areas available.
Still, they do have a decent selection of drinks, all of which taste great in our opinion. It’s not a bad place to get a snack while you wait.
As such, we recommend Adventure Parx if you are looking for a jam-packed play experience for your kid while you have a nice snack. We highly recommend checking them out.

Stay & Play facilities offer a soft and fun indoor playground for kids to enjoy while their parents take some time to stroll or buy their groceries. They are located in multiple malls and areas in Dubai, making them quite convenient.
Right away, we found that kids enjoy the ambiance in the play areas. It’s very colourful and there’s a whole host of toys and props for kids to play around with.
The mats are quite soft and there’s a lot of different playground amenities ranging from slides, inflatables, toys, and even play vehicles that kids can drive around in.
We also found the level of cleanliness to be quite impressive. Staff go around every thirty minutes, sanitising the props and facilities that kids had already finished playing with in order to make way for the next batch.
Do note that some venues charge a separate fee to borrow the soft socks though. You’ll probably want to have your kid wear some soft socks they can bring inside the play area.
The play areas are well-ventilated and air-conditioned but we did find that it tends to feel rather warm once the crowd grows inside the venue. It is even felt when you’re outside waiting for your kid.
Their multiple locations and consistent selection of facilities and props do make for a worthwhile visit though. We definitely recommend giving their play areas a try if you’re near a mall that has a Stay & Play.

Initially started by a mother looking for a nice place for her kid to just play and relax under a watchful eye, FiaFia Play Area & Cafe provides a fun, creative outlet for kids to play in while their parents relax or do their shopping
They have a good selection of toys, games, and play facilities suitable for kids of varying ages while also giving parents a clean, comfortable space to sit and maybe catch up with one another.
It is a little bit on the small side in terms of physical space but we were quite satisfied with the amenities on offer. They even have a cafe that serves snacks and drinks for parents and kids to munch on.
We were particularly impressed with their themed birthday services however. Their team took care of pretty much everything, from planning the party, decorations, and execution.
Of course, given the smaller area, they may not be able to accommodate huge crowds but the facilities should still provide enough amenities for most parties in our opinion.
We do wish for some improvements in their parking space though. It is a bit small, accommodating only a few cars at a time but it is also quite dark which can be a bit of a challenge to navigate at night.
Nonetheless, FiaFia certainly lives up as both a play and party place in Dubai. We definitely recommend giving their birthday package a go if your kid is looking for a more active birthday program with their friends.

Playtorium is an indoor playground designed to cater to kids starting at toddler age all the way to their pre-teen years. They offer a well-equipped playground for the kids as well as a decent cafe and waiting for parents.
The play area is quite spacious. There’s enough room for kids to manoeuvre around the different facilities and toys they have around the playroom.
Likewise, they have a very spacious birthday hall that you can rent for the birthday service. This should allow you to get all of your child’s friends in on the celebration if you want to.
For some added fun, they can also hold some outdoor activities if weather conditions permit it, which could add more activities for your kid during their stay.
Workshops are also available as a bit of “edutainment” for your kid, allowing them to flex their creative skills while enjoying themselves. They can indulge in some colouring or roleplaying thanks to the different toys and props available.
They have a small cafe but take note that outdoor food is not allowed inside the area. So if your kid is quite picky with their meal, then you might want to consider having lunch outside before entering the play area.
While the place is also quite spacious, you can expect it to feel crowded once more kids come in. Parents looking for some quiet time may not like the increase in energy in the room.
Still, the Playtorium should offer a sufficiently fun time for kids while their parents wait. We recommend people in the area to check them out if you want a place for your kid to play around with while you shop near the area.
