And since we are a young family, we decided to get our vaccines here. Dr. Rowena Edie, the head of the department, was nothing but inviting and friendly to us and our children.
She knew her way around a syringe, and we were impressed when she registered the vaccine to our children quicker than they could realize the pain.
However, compared to our other entries on this list, neither Dr. Edie nor her department have as many impressive achievements.
On top of that, since it’s the family medicine department that gives out this vaccine, the services for STDs are quite limited.
We did appreciate the fact that we could book our appointment online, though. We really liked that we didn’t have to wait for our turn for so long.

Our friend, Chris, got his HPV vaccine from Dr. Hussein Abed, the head of this department, who has over 15 years of experience.
Dr. Abed is an active member of the German Association of Urology and the European Association of Urology. All in all, he holds an impressive record, that makes his patients feel safe in his care.
And this showed in Chris’ experience with him. The doctor was compassionate and took the vaccination appointment as an opportunity to talk to Chris about sexual health.
Chris loved how the experience with him felt like they were having a conversation between good friends. This is the feeling we’re looking for in a doctor.
On top of that, Dr. Abed also offers other sexual health-related services such as treatments for STDs, sexual dysfunctions, infertility, and many more. It’s his holistic healthcare offerings that get Chris to return to him multiple times.
However, while the department has online bookings available, we found that option to be not as responsive as our other entries.

The family medicine department stays updated on vaccination guidelines to ensure families’ protection against preventable diseases, such as HPV.
Dr. Kiren Sahota, one of the few doctors in this department, has a diploma in Family Planning and Sexual Health. On top of that, she is also a board-certified practitioner in the UK, giving her that acclaimed global training.
What we really like about Dr. Sahota and the entire family medicine department is that they go beyond routine check-ups to cultivate long-term relationships.
Sarah, our friend, and her family go here periodically, and they love the personalized care they get from the staff. All the talk they got about the sexual health of their teenage child was always handled with compassion and sensitivity.
On top of that, it has a multilingual staff and online booking, and your records can also be accessible on the Internet for a more seamless experience.
Where the department weakens is its limited services for STD testing and treatments.

Dr. Rami Hamed Center is a multi-specialty hospital that provides great medical care from the simplest of procedures, such as HPV vaccinations, to complex surgical operations.
Its gynecology department, which deals with anything related to the woman’s reproductive system, is led by Dr. Olena Ioffe.
She has over 25 years of experience practicing as a gynae, an associate professor, and an associate member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Ioffe and the other gynaes in the department lead a strong program against cervical cancer. Since HPV can lead to this devastating illness, the department has also started providing the vaccine for this STD.
However, its service quality can be deemed somewhat cold, in our opinion. Jess, our friend who got her HPV vaccine here, shared that the whole experience felt like everyone was just going through the motions.
She would have appreciated it if the gynae talked to her about her health. She thought it was important for her to know all the info about cervical cancer.

Dr. Sophia Shamshad is one of the doctors in its family medicine department, and she has been practicing her specialization since 2015.
Along the way, she became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and was the lead clinician for clinical governance in a Central London NHS Practice.
We were so impressed by the hospital’s credentials and Dr. Shamshad’s global training, that we had to include her and this place in our list.
However, we were disappointed that she and her team do not have a lot of experience dealing with STDs.
Despite that, they have included HPV vaccination as part of their holistic family medicine program which is more applicable for children and teens, rather than full-grown adults.
