With their fun and lively atmosphere, great selection of sauces and sides, and their fresh “mini” burgers, Krush Burgers has definitely carved a niche as one of the more interesting burger restaurants in Dubai.
Their burgers feel more like sliders and we particularly like how fresh these smaller bites tasted, especially when paired with their cold milkshakes.
The restaurant has a good variety of dishes to choose from and we personally want to give extra points for their vegetarian options. We think this should come in handy for people coming in with friends who have special diets.
In particular, their sweet potato tots taste very good and are quite filling when paired with some of their drinks.
They do not have a traditional “kid’s menu” however, which we think can be a little inconvenient for guests coming in with pickier kids. Portions can be quite big as well, even as a self-proclaimed “mini burger restaurant”.
One thing we wish to see improved is how they present their pricing. It’s not always clear which add-ons like cheese require an additional payment on some of the items, leading to some unfortunate surprises later on.

As another homegrown brand in Dubai, Pickl takes a more rustic and back-to-basics approach when it comes to their burgers. They decided to forego most gimmicks and just focus on making delicious food that appeals to a wide array of people.
They take pride in preparing most of their food ranging from their patties, to their spice blends, and even their sauces, in house. Most customers can see this as well, which we think adds to their appeal.
Still, we think their simplicity does work well when it comes to portion sizes. Their cheese burgers can be quite big, capable of acting as a full meal on their own.
And aside from just burgers, they also serve crunchy chicken tenders and some salads which we think can be quite useful when visiting with pickier friends or children.
Service is also quite fast and we were able to receive our orders on time. Other customers also report the same experience which should be quite good.
But while the food itself is delicious, we think they can cut back on the sauce a bit. The variety is good but we did get a handful of burgers that were just drench, making it a bit messy when eating.
Phone service is a bit slow as well, with a significant hold time. We think this can be inconvenient for customers who want to call ahead to ask about things.
