8th Lining is a made-to-measure suit maker in Dubai. They are quite known for their use of technology as well as their wide collection of fabrics to make suits with.

They’re also known for their made-to-measure business suits and shirts, some casual wear, and even formal attire for attending weddings.

Fitting is generally very good with 8th Lining, in our opinion. We think it’s interesting that they use 3D body scanning technology to take fast measurements.

The suits themselves are also quite impressive in our opinion. They’re able to make use of their wide selection of fabrics in order to take on any kind of design a client may ask for.

We think the suits are perfect for both business and simple leisure in the evenings.No need to worry about forgetting some of the necessary accessories like cufflinks either as you can get them from the shop.

Do note though, that we found them to be quite pricey compared to most other stores. Still, we think the speedy service can be quite valuable for most people.

We also recommend visiting the store early once your appointment is confirmed. Parking is quite limited in the area so you might find yourself needing to take your car elsewhere.

However, we think they could use a bit more experience when it came to trousers. Some clients we’ve spoken to have reported needing further adjustments done on the pants.

Nevertheless, Suits & Shirts is quite good with these alterations. They’re quite patient and are always careful to listen to specific requests in our experience.

From fitting to tailoring and even delivery, we think their services are very good. Delivery in particular is efficient and most clients report a speedy service with minimal wait times.

Another point of improvement we’d like to note is with their phone service. It takes a while for them to pick up at times, making it a bit time-consuming to schedule both fittings.

House of Tailors is happy to help clients design their own suits as well as offer advice regarding styles and fashion choices before starting on the custom work, which we think is quite good for beginners.

There are aspects of the service which we think can be improved further, though. For example, while delivery itself is quite fast, we still think they could be a bit more proactive with providing updates.

However, an even bigger point would be with the pricing. Some customers reported being surprised when some additional alterations or add-ons were not immediately made clear despite asking via the phone at an earlier time.

Their home appointments do stand out as a very good aspect for convenience though, especially for busier people. Whether you want a new sports coat or a wedding suit, House of Tailors should be able to accommodate you.

As such, we definitely recommend the service. The convenience makes it one of the best tailors in Dubai, in our opinion.

Prive Atelier is a quality tailoring and alteration service for both ladies and gentlemen here in Dubai.

In our experience, they primarily did good work when it comes to formal wear like corporate uniforms as well as ladies’ dresses for both formal and casual events.

Prive Atelier has a good selection of fabrics to choose from as well. Most customers will be quite satisfied with the selection for their custom outfit in our opinion.

We also found them to work quite fast when compared to other places. The first fitting typically finishes a little less than an hour and their home tailoring also helps with added convenience.

The finished work is also very impressive. Customers we’ve spoken to have attested to feeling quite comfortable and confident in their new suit and tie combo.

Alterations on the other hand, could use a bit more improvement. Some customers report not being able to try some of the clothes for a second fitting, leading to some inconsistencies in the fit.

Hopefully their tailors could be a bit more attentive when it comes to client’s specific requests in modifying some existing clothes.

We do want to note that they can also modify things like bedsheets, blankets, and curtains. This could be beneficial if you just need one place to have all your repairs done, in our opinion.

Service is quite pricey though it’s not the most expensive tailor we found. Overall, Prive Atelier is a very competent tailor and we recommend them for extensive custom work and repairs here in Dubai.

In particular, some lighter shades may not always be available, resulting in some wait times for those who may need it. Still, those looking for more traditional darker shades should be okay based on our experience.

Alterations are also covered but we found that they took a bit longer than other tailors in Dubai. However, we think that this resulted in a more comfortable fit and even customers report very minimal problems.

All-in-all, Stallion Bespoke is a very good tailor to go with, especially for clients who may have more complex specifications. We definitely recommend interested clients to check them out.
