We Found Our Inner Daredevil at These 10 Skate Parks in Dubai
Both my brother and I get motion sickness and are scared of heights, so you’d think skating isn’t the best idea for guys like us. The thing is, our dad LOVES skating and kept trying to get us into it when we were kids. Still, we always turned him down.
Then one day, this girl my brother and I liked (yeah, we were crushing on the same girl) said she thought skaters were cool. The next day, we surprised our dad by showing up in full skating gear and asking him to teach us. Then, the rest is history.
Even though none of us ended up with the girl, my brother and I laugh about this whole thing now. At least we picked up some awesome tricks to impress our friends. Here are the skate parks in Dubai that we’ve tried and liked so far.
Where can I skate in Dubai?
There are a bunch of parks where you can skate in Dubai! You can hit up spots like the Dubai Silicon Oasis Skate Park, Town Square Skate Park, Nahida Skate Park, Al Mamzar Beach Skate Park, and The Block.

Want a spacious park to show off your skills? The Dubai Silicon Oasis Skate Park is one of the biggest options here—it boasts a size of over 5,000 square feet!
Even if this park is in a fairly busy community in Dubai, we believe there’s room for everyone to enjoy their moves.
And in our opinion, its design is pretty exciting, with plenty of great obstacles to challenge skilled skaters! It provides ramps, flatrails, stairs, ledges, and the like to keep everyone guessing.
Pro tip:
There aren’t a lot of shades at the Dubai Silicon Oasis Skate Park. So either skate early in the morning or late in the evening, or keep reapplying that sunscreen! Your dermatologist will probably tell you the same thing.

We feel Town Square Skate Park is a fantastic choice for those who want to feel like they’re in a movie. For one, it’s got all these thrilling obstacles and graffiti that we think make it look legit.
There are a few facilities, but we reckon you can do a lot with the ramps, quarter pipes, rails, and ledges here. Besides, the less obstacles there are, the more creative we believe you’ll be when showing your skills.
Nifty trick:
We recommend skating at Town Square Skate Park after 5 pm to avoid the hot sun, especially in the summer! The park is open and well-lit at night so you can get your thrill without worries.
Nahida Skate Park

Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 9 AM to 11 PM

A lot of skaters probably already know about Nahida Skate Park. This is because its strategic place in Downtown Dubai makes it highly accessible to deck riders of all skill levels.
We also love how unique this skate park is—it’s divided into 2 sections by a tunnel. And with this comes various obstacles spread along each side. There are rails, ledges, manual pads, and quarter pipes all around. Great for learning new tricks, we say.
Insider scoop:
Bathrooms around Nahida Skate Park can be challenging to find, so you’ll have to go to a random cafe when nature calls. Make sure to plan for this beforehand!
Al Mamzar Beach Skate Park

Address: 89F2+PCF – 130 Al Khaleej Rd – Al Mamzar
Operating Hours:
- Open 24 hours
Fees:
- Free entry
If you want to skate near the beach, Al Mamzar Beach Skate Park is the way to go! Many skate enthusiasts come here for the nice scenery especially at sunset. And who knows? They probably want to take a dip in the cool waters later.
This park may also look plain for some. But the way we see it, it’s ideal for those who want to inhale some sea breeze and find their zen as they skate.
We feel this place is a tad safer than the other parks too! There are only a few obstacles, such as a 12-foot half pipe and a couple of ramps along the way.
Hot idea:
Getting hungry? Take advantage of Al Mamzar Beach Skate Park’s BBQ spot near the car entrance!
The Block

Address: 57RX+G35 – Dubai Design District (D3)
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 9 AM to 12 AM
Fees:
- Free entry
More than your average skate park in Dubai with ramps and rails, The Block offers basketball and volleyball courts too! For us, this makes it a one-stop destination for a proper workout.
And since this park hosts events like Sole DXB, we heard a few professional skaters actually frequent this place. If you know some of them, keep your fingers crossed (when you’re not on a skateboard, of course)!
More workout suggestion:
If you want to do more exercise (because why not?), we say bring your bike too! The Block has a cycling pedestrian path along the Creek Side, which makes it great for a ride home if you live nearby.
Damac Hills Skate Park

Address: 2773+5XJ – Damac Hills – Umm Suqeim Rd
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 7 AM to 10 PM
Fees:
- Free entry
Is safety your top priority? Then, we reckon Damac Hills Skate Park might hit that sweet spot between fun and security. Since its location is inside a gated community, we feel you’ll be as relaxed as a skater on a smooth ride.
And with 2,000 square meters to cruise around, we bet there are more than enough space and obstacles here for you! This can be helpful if you’re practicing complex tricks, since you’ll need more room to nail them.
On top of that, there’s a lush garden nearby when you want to take breaks. We feel this makes the park look more fresh and easier on the eyes.
“Paw-some” tricks:
Missing your dogs? We suggest taking them to Damac Hills Skate Park! There’s a dog park in the area, so your pets can get their exercise too.
And if you need anything, like a sports drink or baby wipes for your dog, you can easily go to the supermarket next to the park!
Bay Avenue Skate Park

Address: 57R8+GX9 – Al Amal Street – Business Bay
Operating Hours:
- Open 24 hours
Fees:
- Free entry
Want to destress after a stressful day of work? Bay Avenue Skate Park is tucked in the middle of Business Bay where you can escape from the hustle and bustle for a while.
While this park might be smaller than the others, we think it still has adequate obstacles for beginner and advanced skaters to enjoy. You’ve got rails, ledges, slopes, and even jogging tracks if you need them.
And if you prefer to bring some loved ones to watch you skate, no worries! The seats here are usually well-maintained, so your “audience” would be as comfy as can be.
Cool idea:
Did you know that Bay Avenue Skate Park overlooks the iconic Burj Khalifa? If you want to update your Instagram feed, make the most of this park to capture some cool photos. Be sure to wear a chic (yet still “skate-able”) getup as well!

- Others – AED 30
Not a morning person? That’s fine! Dubai Hills Skate Park opens around lunch, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it and practice your skills.
We believe this skate park’s small space and location inside the Dubai Hills community makes it low-key. And did we mention that the skaters here are mostly kids and beginners? So, we feel there’s no need to be shy if you’re one.
Just keep in mind that you can only skate here during the day. After sunset, it gets super dark without proper lighting. And really, we don’t want to risk any accidents.
Tips for parents:
Want to skate but can’t leave the kids at home? Bring them to Dubai Hills Skate Park! It offers a kiddie playground, so they can do their own thing while you do yours. You can even teach them a few starting tricks!

XPark by Etisalat is among the most popular skate zones in the city because of its well-equipped facilities. If you’re wondering how this came about, this spot was actually founded by passionate skate enthusiasts, so we bet they really know their stuff!
For one, we’re in awe that this skate park offers a 20-feet climbing tower, rocky and inclined surfaces, beginner blocks and intermediate areas, a sunken container, steel obstacles, skate bowls, and more!
Just imagine how many skating tricks you can do with all of these—too many, if we say so. Plus, we love the graffiti walls that keep the cool vibe of the park intact.
Fun idea:
Want to practice some fun parkour moves at XPark? You totally can! The park offers a safe environment with rubber flooring, so you can worry less.
Just make sure to stretch properly and be aware of your surroundings for a smooth experience.

Fancy something a bit comfier? Adventure Zone Skate Park provides a nice indoor skate park in Dubai Adventure Zone that might just be your cup of tea.
This has 5 sections to it—a BMX area (for bike tricks), a skate section, a big street section (eg., with stairs, rails, and benches), and a large bowl and half pipe section (curved and u-shaped ramps) to maximize the tricks you can do.
We like that these obstacles cater to different styles, so even beginners have a lot to discover. For an indoor space, we believe that’s pretty decent!
Safety advice:
If you’re bringing your own gear to Adventure Zone Skate Park, we believe it’s best to have them checked by the instructor to ensure everything’s good. Better safe than sorry!
