The church’s architecture is stunning, blending traditional Arabian styles with modern design. It was dedicated in 2003, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum generously granted the land.
ECCD’s services are held every Friday and Sunday, and let me tell you, the Friday service is something else. The music and sermons create such an uplifting atmosphere.
The church also organizes various ministries and events throughout the year, like Bible studies and outreach programs. One of my favorite memories was the annual Christmas celebration. It was such a beautiful experience, bringing families from all backgrounds.

The Mor Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral’s architectural design is a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary elements, and the intricate details inside are just stunning.
I found the cathedral’s rich history fascinating. Can you believe it started with just seven members and now has over 400 registered members? It’s amazing to see how it has grown over the years.
The cathedral is a place of worship and a spiritual haven. I love that it offers various services to cater to the congregation’s needs, and the evening prayers during the week provide a peaceful opportunity for reflection with God.
One thing that stood out to me is the three thrones dedicated to significant figures in the faith. They symbolize the deep-rooted traditions and commitment to worship.
