We Felt like Kids Again at the Cave of Miracles in Dubai
Ever feel nostalgic about going on school field trips? I do! When I was 7, my mom forgot to pack me lunch so I was about to cry (hey, only ALMOST). But then, my friends gave me some snacks and invited me to wander around the Mushrif Park so I got over it.
And as I grew up, those trips sparked my desire to find a career that involved a lot of traveling, and guess what? I did! But, you know how it is—mixing work with hobbies can get pretty tiring, so I had to figure out new ways to keep the excitement alive.
That’s when I discovered the Cave of Miracles and thought it would be great to have my pals come along. Turns out, it’s a super cool spot at the Quranic Park! We even put together a handy travel guide below so you can see what it’s all about.

The Cave of Miracles is known for being a man-made cave in Dubai that features audio-visual shows and interactive displays about the miracles mentioned in the Holy Quran.

Buses: If you’re taking the RTA bus, the buses 11A and 11B stop near Quranic Park.
Taxi: This is our favorite transport option! Hail a cab, sit back and relax, and the driver can take you directly to the Quranic Park.
Car: Those with cars can access the park via Al Khawaneej Road (D89). From the roundabout, you must take the Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street (D54) exit to reach the Quranic Park.

Since the Cave of Miracles is among the Quranic Park’s most famous attractions, you can expect lots of tourists eyeing its beauty. You’ll stop by each one of the 7 Quran miracles, so we say have your cameras ready!
This includes the marvels of Prophet Nuh (Noah) about the flood and Prophet Musa (Moses) about the parting of the Red Sea.
Walk Through a Visual Journey

At the Cave of Miracles, you’ll see several film snippets. Whether you speak Arabic or English, we believe this is a unique way to familiarize yourself even more about Islam.
And after each clip, the guide will direct you on the next stop, so make sure to make the most of the opportunity. We also recommend asking a few questions along the way.
Take Eye-Catching Photos

Aside from what the guides will show you, we believe you’ll be in awe of the mystical cave in general—we believe it’s like a destination from a fairytale!
There are eye-catching stalactites (mineral formations hanging from the ceiling) and stalagmites (growing upward from the floor), which form some pretty interesting shapes and play of colors. We think this would make stunning photoshoot backdrops!

Sometimes, we don’t want to complicate things and just want a box of pizza (or two). LIT Pizzeria is located in Quranic Park, so we think this is a pretty good choice when you feel there’s something missing from your family picnic.
The standout wood-fired pizza flavors for us are the short ribs and Buffalo chicken. We think the cookies and coffee here are a must-try too! Plus, we love the outdoor setting—it’s got umbrellas to ensure everyone’s comfy in the shade.

We think you can’t go wrong with the classic burgers—we like the truffle beef! But what surprised us was the ice cream burger! Yep, you heard that right. While this is a bold choice for many, we think it’s just a sweet sandwich that’s worth a shot.
Otherwise, there are fries and boneless Buffalo chicken wings too. This dining spot doesn’t offer many other desserts, though, but you can get an Oreo milkshake instead.
Lobster and Co

Right off the bat, we think you can get the bang for your buck with this eatery’s combo meals. We suggest going for the mixed seafood in curry so you can have a bit of everything. Or, we suggest getting the lobster meat sandwich or dynamite shrimp too!

Those who have been exploring the cave all day might need a little pick-me-up. SURGE is a coffee roastery nearby where you can get fresh brew and yummy brunch food. We adore that its outdoor seating area overlooks the pond as well.
We say go for the crowd favorites, such as the Spanish latte or Oriental latte. We think they complement the French toast and cookies very well. On top of that, this cafe offers free Wi-Fi, so we say make the most out of that perk.
And if you’re driving, we find it convenient that this cafe offers ample parking and is next to a carwash—why not get your vehicle cleaned while you relax? Seems a very efficient use of your time, in our opinion.

Watching your weight? We believe Low Calories is one of the best restaurants near the Cave of Miracles for that! We love the fact that you can see the components of the dishes on its menu, like the calories, proteins, sugars, and the like.
Our recommendations include its (almost) guilt-free options like turkey chicken, lasagna, and chicken burger. We think its version of brownies, milk cake, and coconut matcha deserve to be noticed as well!
In our view, it helps that this restaurant offers meal plans too. For us, this is handy if you’re counting calories or just cautious about the stuff you eat because of certain allergies or medical conditions.

Here’s a nice perk: if you think you’ll be in a rush to the airport the next day, don’t fret because this place offers a free airport shuttle!
Tips When Visiting the Cave of Miracles
Ready for your trip to the magnificent cave? Check out a few more travel tips to make your experience the most worthwhile:
Pack all essential gears.
Before going to the Cave of Miracles, we suggest bringing flashlights, batteries, and a camera or extra phone (to not overheat your personal one).
Bring a jacket!
The cave can get pretty chilly, so we recommend dressing warmly with a jacket or scarf to keep yourself comfy.
Wear comfy shoes.
And by comfortable shoes, we mean sturdy ones too. You’re going to be walking on uneven surfaces, so it’s wise to be on the safe side.
Buy all the tickets you need.
You can only buy tickets at the entrance. If you buy one ticket and later want to visit another site after the cave, we feel it will be tiresome to walk back for another ticket.
Check out the play area
.If you’re bringing the kids along, you can take them to the kids’ zone nearby so they won’t get bored or fussy.
