The thriving city of Dubai is definitely one of the most exciting places to welcome the New Year. There is a unique energy that flows as the excitement peaks among the diverse crowd and impressive show of colourful lights.

Couples can easily take their pick of places to celebrate in, depending on their preferences. Whether you want a loud, energetic party,
an intimate dining experience, or just a good spot to sit down and watch the lights, Dubai has it for you.

Watch the New Year’s Eve Fireworks!

Of course, no New Year celebration is complete without an impressive fireworks show and Dubai is no slouch in that department. People outside and at home are already preparing to enjoy another spectacular light show in the coming New Year.

And while you can easily follow the show at home through your window or by getting a really good, flatscreen TV, you can try heading out with your partner to some of the best locations to watch the show up close.

Of course, it’s always amazing to watch the spectacular light show in the sky from the tall peaks and impressive surroundings around one of the city’s crown jewels, the Burj Khalifa.

And while it is a popular destination for tourists throughout the year, the New Year’s Eve Firework Show is one of its most iconic events, with many people expected to visit it from all over the world.

From there, you can watch the lights with your significant other from a few select spots. Within the building’s vicinity, the Burj Khalifa Fountain is a popular spot for couples to enjoy both the lights and water show at the same time.

The Burj Khalifa is open for 24 hours a day. So you don’t need to worry about rushing to your destination unless you wish to beat the New Year crowd.
