The Greenheart Farm is one of the oldest and biggest farms in the country. It was established in 2012 and is only a one-hour drive from the city center.

Located in a desert near Quata in Sharjah, the farm spans more than 80,000 square meters of land where it has 13 shaded shabras and 30 temperature-controlled green houses. 

The farm also boasts of over 5,000 square meters of animal enclosures and over 45,000 square meters of open field where these animals can freely roam.

The Greenheart Farm takes pride in its 100% chemical-free operation and its ability to create its own soil made from compost allowing it to grow vegetables despite being in the middle of the desert.

Established in 2018, the Hatta Honeybee Garden and Discovery Center has been an institution in the education and preservation of honeybees in the country.
