A Guide to Sunset Beach Dubai

A Guide to Sunset Beach Dubai

Chances are, you’ve already seen Sunset Beach or Umm Suqeim Beach in one of those famous beach photos in Dubai with the Burj Al Arab in the background.

Being one of the most picturesque spots in the city, Sunset Beach attracts thousands of tourists each year for its clean waters, idyllic views of the Burj and of course, its famous Arabian sunset.

In this guide, we’ll talk about everything that Sunset Beach Dubai has to offer including the best hotels and restaurants in the area and the activities to enjoy during your visit.

Best Time to Go

Sunset Beach is open to the public all-year round. But unlike other beach spots where people flock during the summer, it’s best to avoid hitting the beach in Dubai from June to September.

This is because temperatures can soar up to 43 degrees Celsius and the humidity can be unforgiving during the summer months in Dubai.

You’ll see more people visiting Sunset Beach during the cooler months of December to March when the breeze is cooler and the sun is not as hot.

This is also the perfect time to explore not only the beach but also nearby tourist attractions without worrying about the sweltering heat of the sun.
