What is Hatta Dome Park ?

Hatta Dome Park is a mountain resort that offers a luxurious glamping experience to its guests. Located near the famous Hatta mountain range, the resort is just a few minutes walk away from Hatta Wadi Hub, an adventure spot in Hatta.

Hatta Dome Park was created by Dubai Holding Global Investment, the corporate entity of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 

It was designed to mimic the popular igloo accommodations in other countries, but offer a unique experience being in the middle of the mountains.

The resort has 15 minimalist luxury dome tents that blend in with the surroundings. Each one is furnished with a king-sized bed that can fit two adults and two kids aged 13 and below.

Best Time to Go

If you really want to enjoy the best weather during your trip, you should visit Hatta Dome Park during winter, which runs from December to March. On the other hand, the heat is not as extreme here during the summer, so it’s quite reasonable to visit during that time too.

How to Get Around

Trains: There are no trains in Hatta.
Buses: Several buses have routes to Hatta from Dubai and the trip from the city to Hatta takes about three hours without traffic. Once you reach Hatta, you can ride a taxi going to Hatta Dome Park.
Taxis: Taking a taxi is the most convenient way to travel to Hatta, but prepare to spend at least AED 200 for a one-way trip.
Car service: If you prefer to rent a car, you can easily drive from Dubai to Hatta.

Winter: Winter is the best time to explore Hatta since the weather is cooler, making it perfect for doing outdoor activities. Make sure to pack some jackets and thick clothes when camping at Hatta Dome Park in the winter, as the weather can get really cold at night.

Summer: Summers in Hatta are more forgiving than Dubai because of its higher altitude. But don’t forget to bring a hat, umbrella and sunblock still as the weather can still get pretty hot during the day.
