Together with my colleagues at Dubai’s Best, we looked for the best salons in Karama where anyone can relax, refresh, and walk out feeling confident.

A salon in Karama may charge from AED 50 to AED 300, depending on the specific services you need. Hair services are typically cheaper than facial treatments. Some salons also offer packages, which can offer great value.

Quality Fix Salon caught our attention because it’s focused on men’s grooming. Having them specialised in men’s grooming means they understand exactly what guys really need. Precise haircuts? Detailed beard styling? They got it.
Apart from that, we like that they have three convenient branches around Dubai, making their services accessible to more people.
Their Karama branch didn’t disappoint. They offer a wide range of services for gentlemen, including hair styling, body waxing, and face and body care. We love that their service is complete because oftentimes, men’s services are left out in salons.
Barbers are also true pros. Clients say that their barber, John, shapes them right up and knows what styles are great for their face shape. Unlike other barbers, John also takes time to know what the client wants so he can execute it perfectly.
Pricing is also affordable and clear. Their haircut and wash is only priced at AED 35. Meanwhile, their beard and moustache services start at AED 10.
However, they can get really busy and mess up appointments sometimes. A customer said that 30 minutes before his appointment, the salon said they needed to move his schedule due to another customer who walked in.

This salon is more focused on women’s beauty services. They offer a range of hair, nail, and body treatments for ladies. For instance, they offer services such as bleaching, waxing, and facials.
One thing we like about this salon is that it has a very hands-on owner. The owner strives to provide the best possible comfort to every client and solicits feedback in person to continually improve their service. We like this attitude, of course.
Additionally, the salon excels in its haircut services. Many customers say that they do really great haircuts. One lady shared that her layered cut is amazing and that her barber understood what she really wanted.
Another thing that we adore is that they have bridal services. From hair styling to make-up, they’ve got you covered. They can do both international and traditional brides look.
One thing to note, though, is that it’s a bit hot in their studio. It can be uncomfortable for those who have longer service sessions.

Venus Valley Beauty Salon is another studio that primarily offers its services to female clients. From hair to body treatments, they have it covered.
They’ve been serving clients since 1990, and we’re happy with their hairdressing and beauty expertise.
They offer a wide range of services, but we think that they truly excel in their hair services. Clients keep coming back here for hair treatments, like Botox, root touch-up, and keratin treatment.
Aside from that, they also offer henna tattooing. This is perfect for brides who want a personalised henna tattoo for their wedding day or photoshoot.
The salon itself is clean with comfortable seating for both the client and their company. They’re also well-equipped with the necessary tools, making their service efficient.
The only thing to keep in mind is that they aren’t that transparent with their pricing. This is not a good thing to have, especially for those who are on a budget. Surprise fees, even if the service is of high quality, aren’t impressive.

Pretty Eye Ladies Salon stood out to us because of its relaxing ambiance. Unlike other studio salon that feels cramped, Pretty Eye Ladies Salon has spacious and comfortable spaces.
They also have comprehensive service offerings. They have hair, nail, and skin beauty treatments.
We appreciate that they have everything in place, making it convenient for clients. In fact, a client said that she took 10 services from this salon and all the results are great.
We can also say that they have reasonable pricing. Haircut with blow dry is just AED 60 compared to AED 69 at other salons. Meanwhile, full-body bleach is priced at AED 150, compared to AED 180.
The front desk staff is also kind and nice to talk to. Their manager is friendly and helpful, which contributes to a nice overall experience.
Unfortunately, the quality of their service is not consistent. Not all hairdressers seemed experienced. A customer said that she was assigned to a different hairstylist, and her bob cut even turned out to be a failure.

Another thing we like about this salon is that it offers microblading. It’s actually one of their expertise, and clients are happy about the results. Many say that their technician is experienced and uses high-quality products, ensuring a safe process.
Apart from that, they’re also well-regarded for their hydrafacial. Not all salon has this service. Clients also report that the service left their faces feeling smooth and refreshed.
Pricing? They’re well-priced and budget-friendly. They also have clear pricing both in their salon and website, so you don’t have to guess their rates.
One thing to note is that their salon studio isn’t that spacious or comfortable.
