I’ll Never Say No to Some Cheers at the 5 Best Beer Gardens in Dubai

We all deserve a treat every now and then, don’t we? After a busy work week, all I want to do is wind down with a pint of beer over good company with friends.

Good thing, this city has no shortage of places to enjoy some cheers, so of course, I was on the hunt for the best beer garden in Dubai.

You already know the drill – here are my top favourites with everything you need to know about them. Prepare to have fun and get drunk while you’re at it!

Brew House

Operating hours: 12:00 PM to 3:00 AM daily

Brew House is where you go for a chill Friday wind-down with your favourite people. And it’s exactly what I do because, in my opinion, this is one of the best beer gardens in Dubai.

Since it’s in the heart of Business Bay, you can expect a working crowd here every day. Corporate professionals who work day in and out love to gather here for some beer, food, and good conversation.

I love Brew House not only for its craft cocktails and wide selection of beers but also for its good food. They serve pizzas, barbecue, and other dishes that will surely leave you full and ready for a night of drinking.

Being a barn-style beer garden, Brew House has a pretty chill vibe where you have the option to be inside the restaurant or in their urban garden during winter.

Pro tip:

If you have friends visiting Dubai, choose CityMax Hotel as their accommodation. It offers easy access to Brew House and other attractions in the heart of the city.

When it comes to beer gardens in Dubai or any other part of the world, I know many would agree when I say that no one else does it better than the Germans.

Luckily, I just need to visit Erns Biergarten for that traditional German pub experience. From the unmistakable green walls to the plaid tablecloth, you’ll instantly know that you’re in a German pub..

Erns has one of the most extensive drink menus I’ve found in the city. They have everything from bottled beers and draft beers to boilermakers if you’re more adventurous with your beer.

The pub is also known for serving authentic Bavarian cuisine, where you can enjoy the best schweinshaxe and pretzels in the city.

You can even create your own schnitzel with your choice of meat, sides and sauces. Of course, they have the classic German mains like gengrilltes lachsfilet, schweinshaxe and rindergulasch.

Pro tip:

Are you overwhelmed with your choice of food? Get a little bit of everything when you order the choices from their “For Sharing” menu.

If you love to enjoy your drink over some live sports, Garden on 8 is undoubtedly the best beer garden in Dubai for that.

Located on the rooftop of Media One Hotel, this beer garden is both chic and relaxing with its laidback backyard hangout vibe.

Garden on 8 also serves some of the best comfort food that you can find in the city, including their grilled steaks, burgers and pork dishes.

And what’s a beer garden without some beverages? They have a wide variety of beers and ciders, wine, whiskey and tequila. You should also try their signature cocktails like “The Bees Knees” and “Brandy Bliss.”

The Irish Village is a favourite beer garden in Dubai for many locals because of three things: the beer, the food, and the community.

The place is designed to make you feel like you’re in Ireland, and it even has a mini lake with the famous village ducks.

The draught beer selection here is unmatched, which is heaven for beer lovers like me. But if you’re a cocktail, gin or shooter kind of person, they also have many options here.

The Irish Village also serves authentic Irish food, including my favourite cottage pie, fish and chips, and Argentinian rib-eye steak. And if you’re looking for a good hangover cure, their traditional Irish stew will take care of that.

Pro tip:

Enjoy the Irish Village’s food and beverages on a budget by checking out their many offers throughout the week.

I love a good gastropub experience with friends every now and then. And whenever I crave good English food – think a succulent roast – and some drinks, I only go to Reform Social and Grill.

Located in The Lakes, this area transports you to a different part of Dubai, reminiscent of the British countryside due to its lakeside setting. You can dine in their garden during winter, and the restaurant and bar are neatly designed too.

Their British menu here is exceptional, especially their Reform-style lamb chops, salmon tournedos, and Dingley Dell rolled pork belly.

Now, if you want something light to go with your drinks, their charcuterie and cheese platter is always a hit. But if you don’t mind indulging in meat goodness, the ultimate pork platter is always a good idea.

Pro tip:

Who says you can’t relax on a Monday? Reform’s “Pizza and Prosecco Night” is a must-try. You can get unlimited pizza and prosecco for two hours at just AED199 per person.
