What Is Special About Dubai Creek Harbour?

As Dubai continues to grow, so do the many real estate developments that wow the rest of the world.

One perfect example is the mega development on Ras Al Khor that shows how the city challenges the limitations of real estate.

Dubai Creek Harbour is a mixed-use community on the waterfront of the historic Dubai Creek that’s set to be a self-sustainable “city within a city” once completed.

From luxury residences to the tallest supported tower in the world, it will have all the amenities that you need to live a fully integrated lifestyle.

If you want a slower pace of life without leaving the comforts of the city, here’s what makes Dubai Creek Harbour special.

One of the biggest selling points of Dubai Creek Harbour is its location.

The development is ideally located close to two of Dubai’s most important landmarks: the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dubai Creek.

Dubai Creek plays a huge part in the city’s beginnings, which is why the development’s tagline is “discovering life at its source.”

Being on the waterfront, you get unmatched views of the Old and New Dubai. You see Deira and Bur Dubai on one side and the skyscrapers of downtown on the other.

But what really makes this location special is that you also enjoy being near nature, which is something that you won’t find in other developments in Dubai.

Dubai Creek Harbour is also centrally located that Downtown Dubai is just a 10-minute drive away and the Dubai International Airport is just 18 minutes away.

It’s also easy to get around Dubai Creek Harbour, whether you’re using public or private transportation:

Dubai MetroFrom the Creek Metro Station, stop at the Dubai Healthcare City Metro Station where you can ride a taxi to Dubai Creek Harbour.
Dubai BusRide bus lines 53 and X64 and stop at the Waha Community Center 1 Station where you can take a taxi to Dubai Creek Harbour.

It’s also easy to drive to Dubai Creek Harbour since it’s accessible through the Ras Al Khor Road.

If you’re driving from the city, head northbound to Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) until you reach the Ras Al Khor Exit. Continue driving until you reach the junction to Al Hail Road (E14).

From here, you’ll see directions that will guide you to Dubai Creek Harbour.

The plan for the tower was revealed in 2016, but Emaar refused to give out any details, especially on its height to keep it from being surpassed by other projects.

The developer revealed, however, that the Dubai Creek Tower will be the tallest building and supported tower in the world. It’s set to surpass the current record by Burj Khalifa.

Designed by Spanish Architect Santiago Calatrava, the tower will feature 10 observation decks and 20 levels of residential and commercial spaces.
