We Dozed off in a Food Coma Because of These Tasty Pies in Dubai
OK, I may not be the smartest, richest, or most good-looking guy in the room, but if there’s one thing I do best, it’s eating pies! Whether it’s sweet ones like apple, pecan, and date, or savory ones like steak, chicken, and spinach, I’m all for it.
If you must know, I can finish a whole family-sized pie by myself! At least, that was when I was younger (and more actively working out). But as I got older, not every pie had that same effect. Now, I can still enjoy more than a slice, but it has to be amazing!
To avoid overindulging and dozing off in a food coma (just to be safe), I got some friends to help me choose the best pie shops in Dubai. Check out our foodie review below!
Where can I get the best Dubai pies?
There are many places where you can get the best Dubai pies. Some of the sweetest spots to try are Pitfire Pizza, Looshi’s Bakery, SAID dal 1923, Magnolia Bakery, and Cakewalk Bakery.
Pitfire Pizza

Website: https://pitfirepizzabakers.com/
Address: Lake Terrace Tower – Cluster D – Jumeirah Lake Towers
Contact Details: +971 800 7483473, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday – 11 AM to 11 PM
- Friday to Saturday – 11 AM to 12 AM
Pricing: AED 27 (Apple Pie)
Pitfire Pizza may be a pizza joint, but we feel you shouldn’t overlook its delicious desserts. It offers a must-try classic pie—Michele’s Alabama Apple Pie!
For one, we love its fresh and thick apple slices, so you’ll probably get your money’s worth with most bites. Plus, this pie seems perfectly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, and we believe this pairs well with its buttery crumble and homemade crust.
And should you like to drink something refreshing, we think this treat would complement this passion fruit juice!
Pro tips:
Pitfire Pizza’s restaurant is a tad small, with 3 tables that can cater to up to 10 people. So if you have a big crew, consider coming in earlier or just enjoying outdoor seating—we think this is great during the winter!
Parking can be a challenge around here too, so be sure to plan accordingly!
SAID dal 1923

Website: https://said.it/locations/dubai/
Address: City Walk – Al Wasl
Contact Details: +971 4 386 6644, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Wednesday – 9 AM to 12 AM
- Thursday to Saturday – 9 AM to 1 AM
Pricing: AED 58 (Upside Down Pecan Pie)
Upside-down pecan pies, anyone? SAID dal 1923 is an authentic Italian artisan chocolate shop that offers traditional pecan pies. If you appreciate a good crunch, it’s got toasted pecans and an almond flour crust too!
This pie is warm and rich, and we think it’s made even better with the cool gelato topping. For us, it’s got complementary textures (and temperatures) that make it so well-loved. The slice isn’t too big or small either—it’s just the right amount.
True sweet enthusiasts might also want to indulge in this spot’s hot chocolate. But don’t fret if the regular and white choco are overflowing onto the plate—this is done on purpose!
Pro tip:
Want to get more gelatos at SAID dal 1923? Just ask the staff politely, and they can provide you with free samples!
Magnolia Bakery

Website: https://www.altayer.com/retail/hospitality/magnolia-bakery
Address: Dubai Festival City, Ground Floor, Festival Square
Contact Details: +971 4 288 1539, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 8 AM to 11 PM
- Friday to Sunday – 8 AM to 12 AM
Pricing: AED 21 (Small Chocolate Banana Cream Pie), AED 99 (Large Chocolate Banana Cream Pie)
Magnolia Bakery is a vibrant bakery that offers a good assortment of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and pies at the Dubai Festival City Mall.
There are 3 pie flavors here, but our favorite is the banana cream! We just adore the fresh bananas, along with the classic vanilla pudding above a vanilla wafer crust. There’s chocolate pudding and peanut butter too, if you want something sweeter.
We’re also glad that there are smaller versions of some pies, like banana pudding samplers and peanut butter bars. At least we reckon you’ll get a good taste before going all in with the bigger sizes.
Pro tip:
Every month or so, Magnolia Bakery offers a new flavor twist for its famous banana pudding. This shop usually posts about it on its social media accounts, so better keep on the lookout!
Susan’s Baking Co.

Website: https://www.susansbakingco.com/
Address: Dunya Tower – Downtown Dubai
Contact Details: +971 4 375 3281, +971 50 991 6889, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 10:30 PM
Pricing: AED 21 – 290 per pie, depending on the flavor and size
Susan’s Baking Co. is a Chicago-inspired cafe and diner with family recipes known for its pies. The shop brings a taste of American flavors to Dubai that we think many travelers would appreciate.
We suggest going straight for the classic American pumpkin pie or Mississippi mud pie for a unique and tasty treat. For us, its new crème brûlée (vanilla bean custard with caramelized sugar topping) pie looks promising too!
If you can’t decide on the flavors, we say go for the “Susan’s Picks” box and try the classics—mini apple pie, pecan pie, and cheesecakes—just to have a bit of everything.
Pro tip:
Struggling with social anxiety today? Use your phone to scan Susan’s Baking Co.’s Qlub QR code per table—check the menu, view your bill, split the cost, and pay for your meal with less human interaction!
Val’s Filipino Bakery

Website: https://www.originalvalsbakery.com/
Address: 9 11th St – Al Bada’a
Contact Details: +971 50 731 6711, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 10 AM to 11 PM
Pricing: AED 55 per buko (coconut) pie and egg pie
Val’s Filipino Bakery offers some of our favorite cakes, breads, and pies from the Philippines. If you haven’t tried a buko (coconut) pie or egg pie before, we believe you should at least once!
Its famous buko pie is made with young coconuts and sweetened condensed milk, which we think makes it denser than cream-based custard pies. It’s very “meaty” (with velvety slices of coconut meat) and filling, so we bet you’ll feel it’s so worth it!
And to make the most of your experience, we suggest grabbing other Filipino goodies too. This includes binatog with niyog (boiled white corn kernels), kutsinta (steamed cakes), leche flan (caramel pudding), and cassava cake.
Pro tips:
Val’s Filipino Bakery offers freebies and samples now and then, so we encourage you to just be nice and polite to amp up your chances!
It can be challenging to park around here on weekdays, so it’s best to arrive in the morning and explore the area first.
Cakewalk Bakery

Website: https://www.cakewalk.ae/
Address: Al Habbai – Bldg., Shop No. 3 – 4 Za’abeel St – Al Karama
Contact Details: +971 4 396 2099, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 11 PM
Pricing: AED 100 to AED 300 per whole cake or pie
If you’re not into the sweet stuff, Cakewalk Bakery has yummy chicken pies you might want to sink your teeth into. The shop also provides classic pies like apple and similar treats like choco fudge tarts, but in smaller sizes.
We suggest getting some cakes with your pie too! After all, this store has some of the largest number of cake types we’ve seen—it’s got event cakes, cartoon-inspired cakes, eggless cakes, cupcakes, and more to cater to all ages.
Pro tip:
It might be better to pick up your cakes at Cakewalk Bakery in person rather than have them delivered. For us, the store still has room to improve in terms of pie and cake delivery because some items arrive later than expected.
The Eloquent Elephant

Website: https://www.tajhotels.com/en-in/hotels/taj-dubai/restaurants/the-eloquent-elephant
Address: Burj Khalifa St – Business Bay
Contact Details: +971 4 438 3100, +971 4438 3131, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday – 12 PM to 1 AM
- Friday to Saturday – 12 PM to 2 AM
Pricing: AED 119+ Sunday Roast, AED 99 for the pie add-on
The Eloquent Elephant is an artisan gastropub known for providing British classics in a sophisticated spot. You can get some mouthwatering steak and ale pies that we reckon go well with the mashed potatoes and gravy.
Otherwise, we recommend trying its signature Sunday roast (beef, chicken, or vegan). You can upgrade to having the pie of the day too, but it costs an extra AED 99.
We also love that this comes with endless beer pints for a more satisfying dining experience with family or friends.
Pro tip:
Want to be in front of the sports action? We say arrive early so you can get indoor seats at The Eloquent Elephant—it’s where football matches are showcased on the big screens! Otherwise, just sit outdoors for a relaxing evening.
Mythos Kouzina & Grill

Website: http://www.mythoskouzina.com/
Address: JLT Cluster P – Sheikh Zayed Rd – Jumeirah Lake Towers
Contact Details: +971 4 399 8166, [email protected]
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 12:30 PM to 3:45 PM, 6 PM to 11:30 PM
Pricing: AED 47 (Spanakopita or Greek Spinach Pie)
Those who want to insert vegetables into their savory pie might love Mythos Kouzina & Grill’s Greek classic spinach pie. No worries, though! It’s also made with soft filo pastry, cheese, and herbs to make it flavorful.
But if you want some unique sweet treats too, we won’t judge if you also get the portokalopita (orange pie with aromatic syrup) or the rustic chocolate tart. In our book, any of these items taste even better with the refreshing whole peppermint leaf tea!
Pro tip:
Book your table at Mythos Kouzina & Grill a couple of days in advance! It tends to get busy in the evenings, so we believe it’s smart to plan ahead.
Looshi’s Bakery
Media credit: looshisae
Website: http://www.looshis.com/
Location: Online Store
Contact Details: +971 50 811 4733, [email protected]
Delivery Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 10 AM to 10 PM
Pricing: AED 50 minimum amount for delivery, AED 300+ orders get free delivery
Those who don’t want to step outside can still get their pies from Looshi’s Bakery. We find it handy that there are small, medium, and large sizes here to suit most occasions or preferences.
For first-timers, we recommend going for the small Nutella pie right away. We personally love its classic look—buttery crust on the outside and full-on rich and creamy chocolate filling everywhere else! It’s a true chocolate lover’s dream, in our opinion.
Pro tip:
Order 3 small pies or combine one with other cakes and cookies to hit Looshi’s Bakery’s AED 50 delivery minimum! Also, note that you can get free delivery on all orders above AED 300 within Dubai.
