I used to be terrified of oysters. That scene in Mr. Bean where he’s served a plate of cold seafood, including those ominous-looking oysters, was enough to put me off for life.

But everything changed when I visited Dubai, where I finally tried fresh oysters that were divine. I have no icky feelings here! 

I’ll share the top spots where you can indulge in the best oyster experience in Dubai—trust me, you won’t want to miss out on this delicious journey!

1. Pierchic

The dining experience here is all about elegance and sustainability—seriously, they source their ingredients from local waters and farms. Pierchic prides itself on serving only the freshest varieties, ensuring everyone is succulent and flavorful. 

And you can’t talk about Pierchic without mentioning the views and enjoying a meal while looking at the serene sea and the iconic Burj Al Arab in the distance. It’s like something out of a dream!

But it’s not just about oysters; the menu is full of other seafood delights like grilled octopus and lobster ravioli. And if you save room for dessert, don’t miss their signature tiramisu—it’s a crowd favorite!

They meticulously source herbs and spices to ensure authentic Turkish flavors. The ambiance is chic and inviting—Conran and Partners designed the interiors with gorgeous brass detailing everywhere. 

Rüya takes pride in offering the freshest quality oysters. Their focus on seasonal seafood means those oysters are fresh and flavorful. This beautiful terrace overlooks the stunning waters of Dubai Marina. 

One of my favorite experiences at Rüya was on their Raki & Meze Fridays. I indulged in a delightful selection of meze paired with Raki. If you love the vibe of live music, you’re in for a treat—it enhances the lively atmosphere and invites you to sit back.

3. The Maine Oyster Bar & Grill

The Maine Oyster Bar & Grill is a little piece of North America in Dubai. Opened back in 2016, it quickly stole the spotlight and snagged awards like “Best Newcomer” and “Best Seafood.” 

The design has a post-industrial and retro feel that’s both cozy and stylish—perfect for seafood lovers like us. The raw bar is the show’s star, with fresh oysters, live lobsters, and seafood towers prepared with that signature New England flair. I

Maine is all about quality. It sources only the freshest oyster varieties so that every bite is flavorful. There’s even an exhibition kitchen where you can watch the chefs work their magic, a cool touch. 

And if you’re like me, you’ll want to snag a spot on the terrace. Picture this: sipping on a cocktail while enjoying gorgeous views of the Arabian Gulf and diving into a platter of freshly shucked oysters. It’s the ultimate way to unwind after a hectic day.

4. Brass Monkey

It opened in 2020 and has a cool 90s theme. The place is huge—26,000 square feet across two levels. You’ll find 12 bowling lanes, arcade games, and pool tables. 

The atmosphere is electric! Neon lights and nostalgic decor invite you back to the 90s. Some of their bestsellers, like loaded fries and dynamite shrimp, are ideal for sharing, making it feel even more like a gathering with friends. 

5. NOÉPE

The menu is a delightful mix of New England seafood classics and some innovative dishes fusing traditional Peruvian and Japanese culinary techniques. 

And if you’re a fan of oysters, you’re in for a treat. They don’t skimp on the quality here; every bite tastes like a little ocean! The views are spectacular, too. They have this stunning waterfront seating that just makes everything feel so relaxing. 

One of my must-do experiences there is their Sunset Soirée. You sit back, enjoy a sharing-style menu, and sip on some amazing cocktails while watching the sun dip below the horizon over Dubai Creek. It’s the kind of moment that sticks with you.

6. Boca

Boca excels in the oyster department! Their selection of oysters is always impressively fresh and often sourced from local waters. One dish you can’t miss is their black rice paella, which comes with oysters and octopus. 

And if you’re a fan of drinks, you’ll love their bar. They have some seriously innovative cocktails crafted by award-winning mixologists. 

7. Billionaire Dubai

If you’re a seafood lover, you’re in for a treat—especially when they host those seafood nights. They always feature premium oysters that are just to die for. They take pride in sourcing the freshest seafood; their raw bar highlights that. Y

And don’t even get me started on the live entertainment! While enjoying your meal, you’re treated to performances ranging from mind-blowing acrobatics to smooth live music. It amps up the whole experience. 

The vibe of the place is just spectacular. You enter through this dramatic red corridor that sets the stage for what’s to come. Once you’re in, the dining area features fabulous terraced tables with a fantastic stage view. 

8. Fish Beach Taverna

They seamlessly blend Turkish and Greek influences. If you love seafood, you’re in for a real treat. The restaurant has a fresh fish counter where you can pick your seafood before they cook it for you. 

It’s such a cool experience, especially when you dig into a plate of oysters—trust me, they’re top-notch! These oysters are often praised for their briny flavor and smooth texture. They’re perfect alongside a crisp white wine or one of their refreshing cocktails.

The atmosphere is special, especially as the sun dips below the horizon. The open-air setup feels breezy and romantic, with bohemian touches that make it feel unique and cozy. 

9. Alici

Alici is a beautiful Italian seafood spot surrounded by white-cloth dining and breezy vibes—the perfect atmosphere. For International Oyster Day, they went all out, offering amazing platters just to die for! 

You can enjoy oysters with unique options like blood orange granita and sea urchin dill oil or indulge in Trasmontanus caviar with celery mignonette. And if you’re in the mood for something different, there’s also bluefin tuna tartare.

You sit in this airy dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows letting in all this natural light—inviting. One of my favorite things to do there is pair those oysters with a refreshing cocktail from their drink menu—it’s seriously blissful! 

Alici is tucked away on Bluewaters Island in Dubai, making you feel like you’ve been transported straight to the Amalfi Coast. Plus, the views of Dubai Marina and the Arabian Sea are breathtaking.

10. BB Social Dining

BB Social Dining has been around since 2017, and it’s become a go-to for anyone who loves Modern Eastern Cuisine. The founders, Alexander Stumpf and Spero Panagakis blend global flavors with local ingredients creatively.

Their oysters are a delicious twist on the traditional shucked kind. They whip up a mouth-watering oyster ceviche with three fresh Dibba Bay oysters paired with avocado, cucumber, green apple, and that kick from serrano chili. 

The ambiance there is just right, striking that cozy yet modern vibe. The themed decor invites you to kick back and enjoy your meal. You can head indoors or sit outside, which feels great, especially since Dubai has such lovely weather most of the year. 

They even have special events like Saturday brunches with live entertainment, which adds to the experience. Plus, if you’re in a hurry during the week, they offer business lunches that are quick but oh-so-satisfying.
