These Bed and Breakfast Spots in Dubai Made Me Forget Hotels Existed
If there are two things I love most in this world, it has to be a comfortable bed to sleep in and a hearty breakfast waiting for me in the morning.
But I have to admit that there are days when I just don’t want to do these things at home. So naturally, I scoured the city in search of the best bed and breakfast in Dubai.
Of course, I’m not gatekeeping anything, so here’s a list of all my favourites.

When I started searching for the best bed and breakfast in Dubai, a lot of locals pointed me towards this place – and it’s easy to know why.
Mazmi Casa is more of a home rather than just a typical bed and breakfast. And it’s located in one of the best places in the city that you could be – right beside the historic Dubai Creek.
The bed and breakfast is the dream of Ilaria, its Italian owner, and her husband Mohamed Al Mazmi who both loved culture, design, hospitality and food.
Being a luxury B&B, each room here is designed to combine traditional and modern elements in a neutral tone to blend seamlessly with its surroundings.
What I love most about staying here is the fact that I can look out the creek the moment I wake up. I also love that I’m right in the middle of the Textile Souq, so I can go shopping whenever I want.
Of course, Mazmi serves some great breakfast options including dishes that are made using Arabic ingredients and Italian techniques.
Pro tip:
When you’re in Mazmi, don’t miss sampling their famous saffron ice cream that’s made with spices sourced directly from the souk nearby.
Cherrywood House Bed and Breakfast

I found several gems of bed and breakfasts in Dubai throughout my search, but this gem is definitely one of the best.
Cherrywood House Dubai is a chic bed and breakfast in Dubai Investment park with rooms that have all the comforts of home.
But more than a comfortable bed, you also get to enjoy a coffee and tea making machine to start your morning and of course, a hearty continental breakfast that comes with your accommodation.
To complete the experience, Cherrywood House also has its own swimming pool where you can relax and cool down after a day of exploring the city.
Pro tip:
While you’re staying in Cherrywood House, make sure that you check out nearby attractions like the Jebel Ali village, the Guru Nanak Darbar and several mosques in the area.
XVA Art Hotel

I love history and art, so you can just imagine my excitement when I found the XVA Art Hotel, one of the best bed and breakfast in Dubai for me.
Nestled right in the middle of the Al Fahidi historical district, this hotel screams history in every corner. In fact, it’s the only place in the city where you get to stay in a traditional room to really experience Dubai’s history.
Everything about this bed and breakfast is perfect in my opinion. I love that they were able to preserve the historical details of the building but still add a touch of modern art into the mix.
While XVA is technically a hotel, it only has a limited number of rooms to make sure that it retains its bed and breakfast charm. Each room is also designed uniquely, so you won’t have to stay in the same looking room every time you book here.
Of course, there’s the famous XVA Art Cafe where you can enjoy authentic Middle Eastern food and coffee any time you want.
Pro tip:
While you’re staying in the hotel, don’t forget to check out the XVA Art Gallery for different exhibits from local and international artists.

If you want to be near the city centre but can’t afford to stay in one of those expensive hotels in Downtown Dubai, Kaizen is the best bed and breakfast in Dubai in the Business Bay area.
What I love about this place is the fact that you get sweeping views of the Gulf and the city centre just like you would in a more expensive hotel.
You’re also near most attractions and establishments, so you don’t need to spend a lot on commutes and cab rides.
Of course, no bed and breakfast experience would be complete without a hearty continental breakfast that’s served daily to guests.
But if you want more options, you can always stop by Grab N’Go, which is just five minutes away from the bed and breakfast.
Pro tip:
Business Bay has a lot of different attractions, restaurants and entertainment centres. So make sure to explore the neighborhood while you’re staying in Kaizen.

Heritage Home Guest House is another favourite bed and breakfast in Dubai because of how it gives you that authentic Arabian experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
From the name itself, this place is all about honoring Arabic traditions while also making sure that you still get to enjoy the conveniences of modern accommodation.
I also love that I get to live like a local, waking up to views of the Dubai Creek in the morning, strolling around Old Dubai and just soaking in all the history and heritage around me.
Pro tip:
Spend at least a day going around Bur Dubai to explore its many museums, souks and of course, restaurants that serve authentic Middle Eastern food.
