The Dubai Miracle Garden is named fittingly because it’s quite literally, a miracle oasis in the middle of the desert! It’s definitely a must see if you’re visiting Dubai!
So, step into a wonderland at the Dubai Miracle Garden and use this guide to learn everything you need to know to plan your visit.
What is the Dubai Miracle Garden?
The Dubai Miracle Garden is a 72,000 square meter flower garden that’s home to more than 250 million plants and 50 million flowers.
Opened on Valentine’s Day 2013, the garden was conceived between Dubailand and the Dubai Properties Group with a cost of over AED 40 million.
After its full completion, the Dubai Miracle Garden became the largest natural flower garden in the world.
It also received the Mosell Award for New Garden Experiences from the Garden Tourism Award in 2015.
Because Dubai’s weather is extremely hot, the Dubai Miracle Garden is only open from October to April and closed for the rest of the summer months.
Since Dubai is in the desert, the plants in the garden are maintained by treating the city’s wastewater using drip irrigation.
According to its officials, the Dubai Miracle Garden uses on average 757,082 liters of water daily to keep the plants and flowers thriving.
Exhibits and arrangements at the Dubai Miracle Garden also change every season and this year, the garden opens its 12th season with new surprises for visitors.
Best Time to Go
This year, the Dubai Miracle Garden will be open from 29th September 2023 to 30th April 2024.
It opens from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Mondays to Fridays and until 11:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
But this attraction can get busy during the weekends. So, if you don’t want to brave the crowd, it’s best to go on the weekdays and right when the garden opens, so you have more time to explore it.
