We bounced through 13 spring activities in Dubai like hyper bunnies!
There’s a reason why my family and I still prefer electric fans, even when we own a few air conditioners at home—we just can’t stand being cold! But don’t get us wrong. We think ACs are the most heavenly during the scorching Dubai summer.
But when winter rolls in, we’d much rather turn everything off than deal with chilly temperatures. When I was a kid, we actually thought we’d love the snow abroad, but no! If we could have a remote control for the seasons, we’d skip to the next one.
And since my family and I don’t do much during winter, we tend to overcompensate during spring in Dubai. Check out our favorite things to do during the blooming season and see what you can add to your own itinerary!
What can I do in Dubai during the spring season?
There are plenty of things you can do in Dubai during the spring season! You can start your day with wellness activities, enjoy golfing and arcade, splash around at a waterpark, go to a flower garden, join a festival, and the like.

Fresh from the cold winter, spring offers milder temperatures that make mornings a delight. And for us, doing early outdoor yoga is a fantastic way to kick things off.
One of the studios to check out is Shimis, a yoga center that comes to DRIFT Beach Dubai for sunrise sessions now and then. You may book 1, 5, 10, or more classes as needed, though you can get a membership or private sessions if you want.
Besides the stress relief, we believe regularly doing yoga can boost your flexibility and blood circulation. Plus, joining outdoor wellness events offers you a chance to make new friends—great wins all around, we say.
Pro tip:
We recommend booking Shimis Yoga in advance since this is a requirement. But if all slots are taken, consider doing Pilates sessions or high-intensity interval training (HIIT) classes as an alternative.

Golfing is a wonderful activity during spring in Dubai! The weather is fairly cool, especially early in the day, so you won’t worry too much about the blazing heat.
Topgolf Dubai is a 3-level entertainment spot at Emirates Golf Club with interactive golf games, snacks, live music, and a rooftop terrace. For us, this ensures a fun time for everyone—golf fan or not.
And if you want to get into the sport even more, the golf club provides 3 courses: The Majlis, The Faldo, and the Par 3 academy course. We like that there are various options, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced in skillset.
Friendly suggestion:
Waiting for your turn at Topgolf? In the meantime, we say enjoy the arcade in the basement or just sit in the bar for a few drinks. Maximize your day with all the fun spots!
Try out a New Brunch Spot

- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 2 AM
Fees:
- Soft Drinks – AED 275
- House Beverages (with Race Day Cocktails) – AED 345
- Premium – AED 435
If you woke up late, no worries—this could be your golden opportunity to check out a new brunch place like The Coterie. Every Saturday, this British spot offers “A Day at the Races Brunch,” where you can share signature dishes while watching the horse race.
We like the steak pie, glazed chicken poppers, and fish and chips, but we have a complicated relationship with the marmite roasties—you either love them or hate them (there’s no in between!). For dessert, we say give the maltese cheesecake a go!
On top of that, there’s a separate section (canteen-style) for families. That way, over-21 crews and parents with kids can have their fun without interrupting the other.
Navigation advice:
We think accessing The Coterie can be challenging the first time. You have to make your way through the Sharif DG shop inside the mall, go to the car park (P6), and use the dedicated lift about 20 meters away to get to the restaurant.

Time for some spring shopping! Dubai Flea Market offers a chance for you to show off your haggling skills and get amazing deals along the way. We reckon you can have a fulfilling experience even with a budget of AED 50!
You can snag new and pre-loved items from apparels to stationeries. And while there’s limited food and drinks to buy around the area, we recommend getting some ice cream to help you refuel after hours of shopping spree.
Hot ideas:
Those who want to get some exercise at Dubai Flea Market could take advantage of its spacious area! Besides shopping, you can run around, bike, or scooter here to burn extra calories.
Got a bunch of old stuff and want to declutter? Consider booking a stall at the market and earning a bit extra in the spring!

The water park provides over 20 thrilling rides, slides, and activities that we bet can attract people of all ages. This amusement venue even got the Duplo Splash Safari for the toddlers, so there’s something for everyone!
For a fun and educational experience, we recommend taking your kids to Build-A-Boat, where they can literally construct a water vessel, put it to the test, personalize the rafts, and let them sail down the lazy river.

In our opinion, you can’t really enjoy springtime without strolling around a bunch of blooming flowers. Dubai Miracle Garden offers over 150 million of them, so we bet you’ve got enough to admire for the whole month of April!
Right off the bat, we adore the heart-shaped tunnels and massive floral structures! Forget only delivering flowers for your date—we say take your special someone to see the giant “Teddy Bear” flower structure, as well as the magnificent sunflower field.
Many visitors come here during winter, but we feel the spring would be a comfier season for you if you’re not fond of the cold.
Smart pointer:

We also love the big ball pit where your doggos can jump into and cool down when they get hot or exhausted. Moreover, the kids can have their fun at the bouncy castle and ball pit, so we believe everyone’s got something to love. Very family-friendly!
Dog owners can enjoy retail therapy too. You can browse through the fashionable and foodie items for your “furbabies” and take home some adorable souvenirs. But don’t forget about yourself—we say get some BBQ or ice cream when you take a break.

Another place to spend your spring is on the water, and Kite Beach is among Dubai’s top places for kitesurfing! If you haven’t heard of kitesurfing until now, we feel you’re missing out! It’s basically a sport where you’ll be pulled across the water by a huge kite.
You can learn from one-on-one sessions from a Kitesurf School Dubai instructor or join in a fun group lesson. Though the staff can adapt to your preferred schedule, the lessons are usually held in the afternoon, depending on the wind speed.
Aside from kitesurfing, you may try other watersports, such as windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, or jetboarding, if any of these are more your speed.
Hot idea:
Though spring weather is typically mild, we still can’t overlook the importance of reapplying sunscreen every 2 hours. Consider wearing a rashguard or wetsuit for extra protection as well!

For us, this rental company’s best packages include deep sea fishing charters, sunset cruises, and party rentals. But if you want only a nice yacht ride, the smallest one can accommodate 10 guests.
Useful hint:
If you want to go all out for your birthday or any other event, we recommend hiring a limousine at Boat Tour Dubai for a true VIP treatment! Depending on your preferences, this can take 2 to 20 guests.

Why not end your spring celebration with a bang? Raspoutine Dubai is a luxury club with elegant red interiors, huge chandeliers, and vibrant ambiance where you can dance to your heart’s content.
It’s got resident DJs to liven up the place when the clock strikes 12. We think you’ll be the opposite of Cinderella, since the party starts late! And in our opinion, this club’s aesthetic is more like Moulin Rouge meets Russian elite.
Other than that, we reckon you’ll be spoiled with French-inspired dishes, including the caviar-topped spaghetti, Wagyu beef, and lobster roll. Don’t skip the berry pavlova (meringue-based) dessert as well!
Advice to be wise:
While it’s fun to make new connections at clubs like Raspoutine Dubai, make sure to drink responsibly and keep an eye on your friends. We think it’s good to arrange your transportation before partying out as well!
