BOCA is an amazing Spanish restaurant in Dubai’s financial district. Not only is the food incredible, but their strong commitment to sustainability really impressed me. They were even awarded a Michelin Green Star for their efforts, which is pretty amazing.

I love that they use locally sourced ingredients and have a zero-waste philosophy, which is commendable. The octopus with smoked paprika and the paella were bursting with flavor. 

They also have an extensive wine cellar, and their craft cocktails are top-notch. I had a great time during their happy hour, enjoying delicious tapas and expertly mixed drinks.

The ambiance at BOCA is just perfect—it’s vibrant and inviting, and the interior design is modern yet cozy. They often host special events like brunches and themed nights, a great way to experience even more of what they offer.

The atmosphere at The Sum of Us is perfect – it’s vibrant yet cozy, and the design encourages a sense of community. I especially enjoyed watching the baristas craft amazing coffee while being surrounded by the smell of freshly baked sourdough. 

The café offers many great amenities, from free filtered water stations to comfortable seating options. Now, let’s talk about the menu—it’s a beautiful fusion of Australian café culture and gourmet offerings, emphasizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. 

I also love that they host special events like “zero-waste dinners” to showcase their commitment to sustainability. Even better, they offer discounts for those who bring reusable takeaway cups.

The diverse menu offers everything from hearty breakfast options to innovative burgers. I particularly enjoyed their Schrute Farm Burger, inspired by “The Office,” a delightful twist on traditional flavors with its hearty beetroot patty. 

The bright, airy spaces filled with greenery and natural light create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. The amenities such as free Wi-Fi, ample power outlets, and comfortable seating arrangements also make it perfect for those doing remote work.

Even their interiors feature eco-friendly materials. The ambiance is modern and inviting, and the stunning Khor Dubai overlooks. I had such a great time enjoying the waterfront views while savoring a delicious meal. 

One of the best things about Teible is its commitment to seasonal cuisine that celebrates local produce. Their dishes change frequently based on ingredient availability, and I particularly loved their fermented bone demi-glace. 

The restaurant also hosts special events focused on sustainability, like fermentation workshops and cooking classes highlighting local ingredients. It offers discounts for early bookings and during specific events.

8. Seva

The ambiance there is enchanting—the lush gardens and rustic interiors create a serene escape from the city. But it’s not just the setting that’s amazing—they also host wellness classes like yoga and sound healing, which adds to the whole experience. 

Their food is not just healthy; it’s bursting with flavor. Their Buddha bowl is my favorite; it’s a colorful medley of grains, veggies, and house-made dressings. Plus, they often have themed dinners and wellness workshops.

9. Wild & The Moon

They avoid additives and gluten, which I appreciate as someone conscious about what I eat. I also love that they prioritize sourcing produce locally to support regional farmers and reduce their carbon footprint.

The interior design, with earthy tones, natural materials, and lots of greenery, creates a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding. What’s also great is that Wild & The Moon hosts special events focusing on wellness and sustainability, which is inspiring.

In fact, they have a kitchen garden where they grow fresh herbs and vegetables. I was amazed that Lowe was recognized as Dubai’s first recipient of the Michelin Green Star for their dedication to sustainable gastronomy.

Lowe’s menu is all about nose-to-tail dining and changes seasonally to reflect the freshest local produce available. It also offers options like fermented vegetable sides, showcasing its innovative approach to using every part of an ingredient. 

The ambiance is chic and welcoming, and the modern design has natural elements. I particularly enjoyed the open layout, which connected me to the kitchen and garden, enhancing the whole farm-to-table experience.
