Dubai Creek Park is among the city’s most popular picnic spots. You’ve got everything here—barbecue zones, lush lawns, and playgrounds for the kiddos. Plus, there’s go-karting and a sweet cable car ride with killer views of the city!

Not to mention, it’s a hub of fun activities. Kids can go wild with mini-golf or geek out at Children’s City. And hey, we appreciate that the park made sure everyone could join in on the fun with easy access for all!

As for the views, we think you’re in for some seriously serene vibes. We recommend taking a sunset stroll, catching sight of traditional dhows gliding along, or pedaling your way around the park.

Jumeirah Beach Park

Jumeirah Beach Park is perfect for spreading your blanket and munching on some goodies you’ve prepared beforehand. It’s one of our favorite spots to picnic!

You won’t run out of things to do here, either! Whether you take a dip in the sea, play beach volleyball, or fire up the barbecue with friends, the park has got you covered. Plus, we love that there are many kiosks for grabbing snacks.

And let’s not forget about the beautiful Insta-worthy sunsets here! When the sun dips, it casts a lovely golden glow over the iconic Burj Al Arab.

Mushrif Park

Zabeel Park

Zabeel Park is super massive – it’s the size of 45 football fields! So there’s plenty of space to spread out and relax. And with the Dubai Frame nearby, you’ll see fantastic city views while you snack.

Aside from lounging, the park also offers obstacle courses, slides, and climbing frames to keep the kids (and kids at heart) entertained. To top off your perfect picnic day, indulge in the barbecue pits and boat rides !

Al Qudra Lake

Tucked away from Dubai’s buzz, Al Qudra Lake in Dubai offers a serene picnic corner. You can hop on a bike along the 84-km cycling track, the longest in the Middle East! 

To make it even better, we love that flamingos, swans, and other birds make the scene a picture perfect haven.

And that’s what we like the most – visitors can have a quiet picnic here while watching the wildlife strut their stuff. Whether you’re into birdwatching or just want to grill up some BBQ, we reckon the park’s all good for casual hangs. 

Safa Park

Safa Park is a total gem in the City of Gold. It’s got everything you and your pals might want—green lawns, spots to play sports, and even prayer rooms if you need a moment.

There’s loads of space, so we recommend spending an entire day here. You can fly kites, kick a ball, or let the kids go wild! Also, its location by the Dubai Canal adds a cool vibe to your picnic scene—we think it’s a great spot to read a book!

If you’re a fitness buff, no worries! For us, this park is a delight for sporty folks because you can rent bikes, take a boat ride, or join in on some team sports fun. The way we see it, it may be smart to prepare an itinerary so you won’t miss out on anything.

Al Mamzar Beach Park

Al Mamzar Beach Park is another picnic haven to visit, with a great mix of beautiful scenery. With 4 beaches and plenty of barbecue stands, it’s definitely the spot for a chill foodie sesh with loved ones.

Aside from picnicking, there’s loads to do here. Kids can build sandcastles while adults play volleyball or dip in one of the pools. Those feeling adventurous may also try some water sports for an extra thrill.

And when hunger strikes, the food kiosks scattered throughout the park are an oasis! But if you want to kick things up a notch, you can also book a VIP chalet for a more upscale experience! 

Al Barsha Pond Park

Located downtown, Burj Park offers a zen spot for picnics with amazing views of the Burj Khalifa. You can spread your blanket on the grass, dig into your picnic goodies, and even grab takeout from nearby joints. 

If you have time, swing by a nearby restaurant or hit up Dubai Mall for some grub to-go before you settle in at the park. 

And besides stuffing your face with sandwiches, we say don’t forget to take in the epic sights around you. From the Dubai Fountain to the bustling Dubai Mall, there’s plenty to see and snap while you munch away.

Al Khazzan Park isn’t your average picnic spot in Dubai—it’s a sun-powered green haven! With solar energy running the show, it’s all about sustainability mixed with leisure. 

From the funky solar water tower to the chill vibes at Inn The Park cafe, there’s something for everyone. You could also let the kids play in the playground while you dive into some vintage magazines from the park’s library.

Jumeirah Lakes Towers Park is one of the most popular picnic zones in the city. Once a lake, now it’s a lush green paradise where kids can go wild with games and kite flying. 

We like that it’s got several picnic areas with tables and benches, along with clean restrooms and plenty of parking. Speaking from experience, these are non-negotiable for a stress-free outing.

What’s more, there’s a lot to do here. If walking bores you, you can also break a sweat at the outdoor fitness stations or shoot some hoops at the courts.

Al Sufouh Park

Al Sufouh Park is like a hidden treasure sandwiched between Palm Jumeirah and the iconic Burj Al Arab. It’s not usually crowded, which makes it awesome for a chill picnic in Dubai!

While there aren’t fancy facilities or BBQ spots here, it’s still got sandy beaches and striking sights. It may not be the biggest park, but we think it’s as cozy as can be. Kids can go crazy on the playgrounds, while adults can relax in the shady picnic spots. 

We also adore the shaded play areas, the cushy running track, and the courts for volleyball and basketball. It looks safe, fun, and relaxing for all ages, overall.

Hatta Hill Park

Hatta Hill Park offers a cool outdoor spot with mountain views. It’s been around since 2004, thanks to Dubai Municipality’s idea to bring greenery and fun to the area. You’ll find stuff like running tracks and sports fields, plus a playground for the kids. 

You can make a whole day out of it too! Besides picnicking, there’s the Hatta Heritage Village nearby to check out old-school Emirati life. And don’t miss Swan Lake—yeah, that’s a thing—where you can spot some local birds chilling in the water. 

We love that you can even hop on a swan-shaped pedal boat for a quirky ride! In our book, it’s like nature, history, and a bit of whimsy all rolled into one awesome day trip.
