Before we get into the details of your trip, let’s get some basic information sorted out first.

How many days should you spend in Dubai?

You should spend at least three days in Dubai if you want to see the main tourist attractions within the city!

The great thing about visiting Dubai is that a lot of its attractions are near each other, so you have enough time to go sightseeing, experience the beach and even go on a food tour.

But if you really want to immerse yourself in every aspect of what the city has to offer including what lies beyond the city center, five days would be enough.

When is the best time to go to Dubai?

Since Dubai is in a desert, it’s known for its very hot summers – which means some attractions are closed during this season.

So, if you want to make the most of your trip to Dubai, November to February is the best time to go since the weather is warmer and most events are also held during this time of year.

How do you get around Dubai?

Getting around Dubai isn’t a problem since the city has several forms of public transport to choose from.

Trains: Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram are two of the easiest and cheapest forms of transport in the city. Get a Nol Card upon arriving in Dubai to pay for your trips on the metro and tram.
Buses: The Dubai Bus has more than 1,500 units traveling around the city and you can also pay for your rides with your Nol Card.
Taxis: If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily book a ride by calling RTA Dubai at 800 9090 or book through Uber or Careem. The minimum fare is AED 12 for a taxi ride in the city.
Palm Monorail: If you’re visiting Palm Jumeirah, you can easily take the Palm Monorail, which travels through the island.
Dubai Ferry and Water Taxi: If you want to see Dubai from the water, you can take the Dubai Ferry or book a Water Taxi.
Car service: Dubai also has several car rental companies where you can book a chauffeured or self-drive car.
