My Phone Died Instagramming These 10 Garden Restaurants in Dubai

Ever notice how architecture has changed over the years? It used to be all about unique and intricate designs. But now, everything seems to look somewhat the same, especially with all those towers and skyscrapers!

Sometimes, I can’t even tell one building from another! I’m often left guessing if I’m passing by an office, a museum, or a hotel. Don’t get me wrong—I think Dubai has some perfectly stunning structures, but the regular ones just don’t excite me that much.

So when I can’t find cool architecture, I settle for places with eye-catching interiors. I especially love hanging out at garden restaurants in Dubai to get a little taste of nature. Check out my top picks below!

Where can I find garden-themed dining spots in Dubai?

You can find many garden-themed dining spots in Dubai! Swing by botanical-themed restaurants like The Farm, Black Flamingo, Arabian Tea House, Treehouse, and Vii Dubai.

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Sunday – 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM

Pricing: AED 100 – 200 per person

Facebook

The Farm is a Thai garden restaurant in Dubai with lots of healthy options. Its exteriors also feature leafy landscapes with lakes and waterways that I think can make visitors appreciate nature more.

My top menu picks are the organic chicken carbonara, braised lamb, and artisanal pizzas. For dessert, I recommend the frozen cheesecake to end on a cool, sweet note.

I think this place is ideal for families too! You can explore its pop-up markets and cooking classes now and then, so make sure to ask the staff about the schedule!

Pro tip:
Bring the little ones to The Farm! The restaurant provides a kids’ area where they can play, run around, and have their kiddie meals, so they won’t get bored!

Black Flamingo

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday – 5 PM to 2 AM
  • Friday to Sunday – 1 PM to 2 AM

Pricing: AED 400 – 500 per person

Facebook

Black Flamingo is a vibrant maximalist restaurant with a glam garden vibe—like partying in Miami! I find the bright parasols and the flamingo statue here very attractive. Moreover, I’m in awe that the greenery covers almost the entire venue!

This place serves Latin and Caribbean dishes. I personally recommend the coconut seafood ceviche (citrus-marinated), lamb racks, and steak.

Besides that, I think this spot is really good with coconuts since the crowd’s favorite dessert is el mejor coco or “the best coconut” with an edible chocolate nest, mango, dragon fruit, orange jelly, and coconut ice cream.

Pro tip:
Visit Black Flamingo on Thursdays for Ladies’ Night! You can save more with unlimited drinks up to 11 pm!

Arabian Tea House

Contact Details: +971 4 353 5071, [email protected], [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Sunday – 7 AM to 11 PM

Pricing: AED 150 – 200 per person

Facebook

Arabian Tea House is a cute garden cafe where you can enjoy traditional Arabic coffee in natural surroundings. There’s a tree with lovely flora and lace curtains here for a relaxing vibe too.

If you want to taste a variety of flavors, I say go for the special Emirati breakfast tray or the mixed kebab platter. I also think the cream and honey plate here is a luscious dessert worth trying!

Pro tip:
There’s free parking outside Arabian Tea House, but it can get quite hot there since there are no shades around. During sunny days, I reckon it might be better to scope out the area for other options!

Treehouse

Operating Hours:

  • Sunday to Thursday – 6 PM to 2 AM
  • Friday to Saturday – 6 PM to 3 AM

Pricing: AED 200 – 250 per person

Treehouse provides a chic outdoor lounge and lush vegetation with rustic wooden tables, cozy sofas, and Burk Khalifa views. For me, the rich Renaissance decor makes the spot even lovelier. The rooftop lounge also looks like a house turned inside out!

My recommended dishes are the California rolls and the rock shrimp tempura. I also like the wine here, though it can be pricey. From the brunch menu, I also suggest going for the home-style bread butter pudding for a sweet ending!

Pro tip:
The best time to go to Treehouse is during winter because it’s an outdoor setting. Still, the staff mentioned to me that they’re planning to put up a canopy during the summer. I advise reaching out to the staff first before booking!

Vii Dubai

Pricing: AED 150 – 200 per person

Vii Dubai is both a lounge and a nightclub, ideal for a late-night tropical-themed dining spot. And the way I see it, every corner here is like a photo zone because of the funky lights and overall stylish aesthetics.

You may try the spider maki roll, beef tenderloin sliders, and even the secret special roll—just for the thrill! As for the drinks, I think the virgin lemon mojito is refreshing and pairs well with most snacks.

Pro tip:
If you’re going to Vii Dubai for brunch, be sure to check the schedule (usually 3 pm to 6 pm) and arrive on time! Otherwise, you might not get your money’s worth because the food typically runs out easily.

Located on the Ritz Carlton DIFC’s terrace, Flair 5 is a garden-style bar known for offering floral-inspired dishes and botanical cocktails. I bet this vibrant neon jungle spot is amazing for big groups with its big booths and high tables.

My recommended grub from the exotic Japanese-Peruvian cuisine includes the signature tuna ceviche (citrus-marinated) with prawn crackers, salmon tartare (raw), and striploin with enoki mushroom.

I also like the sweet molten chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake to even out the sour and tangy flavors from the mains. Later, you can dance off the extra energy from the sugar from the DJ serving deep house music!

Pro tip:
Want exclusivity with friends or your introverted date? Consider booking the private cabanas at Flair 5!

Belcanto Restaurant

  • Thursday to Saturday – 6 PM to 1:30 AM

Pricing: AED 300 – 350 per person

Instagram

Belcanto Restaurant is a cozy Italian garden dining spot with rattan furniture, which I think is a contrast to the concrete jungle around it. It offers views of the iconic Burj Khalifa as well!

But this place doesn’t serve typical Italian food, either. It provides classic Tuscan recipes with a modern twist! Some of my favorites are the Neapolitan pizza and truffle ziti (tube-shaped) pasta. To top it all off, I say try the chocolate and cream éclair pastry.

This spot also offers a well-stocked bar! I recommend the cocktail with vodka and tomato water—this sounds a bit weird at first, but I feel it’s worth a shot (pun intended)!

Pro tip:
Don’t feel like walking after being full? Take advantage of Belcanto Restaurant’s minicar which can take you from the driveway to the entrance!

Saya Brasserie

Address:  City Walk – Al Wasl

Contact Details: +971 50 541 8373, [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Sunday – 9 AM to 1 AM

Pricing: AED 50 – 100 per person

Facebook

If you want a floral dining place that’s not all green, Saya Brasserie showcases lots of pink plants and leaves for a change. For me, this cafe offers a delightful breakfast and ambiance that can start your day right.

I love the coffee too! In my opinion, it goes well with the croissants, pecan tarts, and lotus pancakes. But if you want something savory, I recommend going for the eggs Benedict.

And should you crave a bit of a kick, I urge you to try the dynamite shrimp! Of course, it’s up to you whether your tummy can take some spice early in the day.

Pro tip:
It can be tough to find parking around here, so I advise looking for street parking somewhere else before visiting.

Monkey Bar

  • Friday to Saturday – 5 PM to 3 AM

Pricing: AED 150 – 200 per person

Facebook

Another Instagrammable Dubai garden restaurant is Monkey Bar. It’s filled with untamed flowers and provides magnificent vistas of the Museum of the Future—I think this especially looks cool during sunset!

Perfect for a night out, this restaurant bar has some pretty tasty beef ribeye skewers, guacamole, and Pineapple Express drink, in my opinion. I also think the churros with chocolate sauce are fantastic for dessert.

There’s a live DJ here for that chill, groovy vibe too! But I believe you don’t have to worry about chatting with your friends because the music here isn’t too loud.

Pro tip:
Make sure to follow the dress code at Monkey Bar! This means no sandals or flip-flops, as well as shorts! Only smart casual attire, please.

Facebook

Mama Zonia is an amazing Amazonian restaurant that brings guests to an exotic, urban jungle atmosphere. If you’re a minimalist, I feel you might be surprised at the vibrance of this place with its vivid furniture and decor.

From its Peruvian delicacies, I love the tacos, seafood platter, and steak. The caramel cheesecake here also made a good impact on me, so I believe it’s a must-try. I dig the signature passionfruit cocktail too—what a fun pick-me-up!

Pro tip:
Want to impress someone at Mama Zonia? I recommend getting the sushi platter, which is served with a carved ice block and dry ice! For me, this is pretty cool to see on a date or with your crew.
